*sigh* I had this image of older woman singing in jazz bar full of tobacco smoke.

This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

Man, Dr. David Thorpe is always funny. I haven't read SA in a while, but that was gold. As was his take on the best albums ever...

"Exile on Main Street? More like Exile on LAME Street!"

It's a groaner, but I used to do stupid stuff like that allllll the time.

BTW: Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey

:) I just think the songs are funny. I don't take it as serious political canon and anybody who does deserves to have their head hammered to a 2x4 with rusty nails.

Hell, I don't even think the band's being serious...at all. "My **** is much bigger than yours!" isn't exactly a lyric anybody who's right in the head would use to get out a message...

And, for some reason, I've got Blues Traveler - Run Around going.

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.
