dude, if it was 31, jolee's robe would be the most sought after item in the game! bringing better defense than any armor. too bad it isn't.

Man for a second there i thought i have to have these robes then upgrade them then i would be invincible. ;):)

it's a typo, it's only 3 defence

 

plus it adds +3 to charisma IIRC....

when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!

Er, is it even possible to find most of these robes without a mod? I've been through the game numerous times and have never found any of the named robes, nor the Mentor armor.

 

Not everyone will agree with me, but the 'Randomizer' that they used is too random. When it comes to crucial parts of the story, all you were rewarded is with random items. I never saw one unique item, which you obtained from beating Sion, Nihlis, or the Jedi Masters. All I got were useless Force Forms, which do nothing special. You also have to keep in mind that when they made KotOR II, 90% of the Armor were copies or recolorations of KotOR I's items. Technically, the only major addition to clothes were the robes.

That randomizer has some issues. I picked up in the course of the game 4 Exur Kun armors and 3 Bindo bands that I can think of at the moment. Guess these guys left their stuff every where.

That's one of the main problems with the randomizer. It seems valuable or rare items appear in not-hard-to-find places.

yeah, I really hated that about the game. It's seems like Exun Kun's armor is quit a favorite, as well as the Circlet of Saresh, and Ulic Qel-Droma's armor. One time I found two of Freedon Naad's Blasters. It gets to be pretty rediculous. I mean, there are some places where you get the same things everyt time, like the killer cleaning droid on Nar Shadaa, the museum at the Onderon Palace, the Sith Master in Freedon Naad's Tomb (Double-Bladed Lightsaber and Sith Power Gauntlets).

 

And also it seem like you get lightsabers and parts for them from the unlikeliest of places, like the guy on Nar Shaddaa who's looking for his wife (Lootra?), Mandalore, Daegon Ghent, Moza/Jana Lorso. It's silly, is what it is.

 

They also need to make it so you can get every single lightsaber crystal in the game on every playthrough, maybe 2 or 3 or each, (except Solari). And need to make it so you can only get certain items from one certain place on every playthrough. If you forget to go "there" or can't for some reason, big deal if there's no hope of getting it later on...you can get on the next playthrough. This random item generator is absolute anarchy! Chaos, is what it is, chaos. And let me tell you, "Chaos does not work for the New York Yankees!"

 

Also, you shouldn't have to be a friggin' level 50 to get the best items. I mean, I know it makes sense, but come on! Who the hell gets to level 50 on every playthrough... Make it so you can get some of the good items like around 30 or 35.

Even though it has a LS req. my DS Jedi uses it...

 

But I agree about the crystal thing. I have multiple (lvl 50) of the strongest unique crystals now... (like 2 solari, 4 of another powerfull one)
