Nobody loves Disciple :(

I liked the contrast between Disciple's optimism and Atton's fatalism.  Sure Disciple is annoying, but Atton can be too.

Disciple is good as a tank, but as a character I find him annoying at best. To get influence with him one must be LS, or at least, pretend to be LS while he is around. His overall personality is rather annoying IMO. But back to the tank issue, using the Korriban exploit, I was able to get my exile to level 50, as a result, all the followers are now level 49 because we have been through a few planets since the level jump. My female exile is a DS b1tch, mean to everyone, even her followers, so the only person she has good influence with is HK. I sent Disciple, Hanhaar, and Mandalore to the Dxun tomb, and between Hanhaar and Desciple, the sith were falling like lambs to the slaughter. The only fight to severely injure any member was the final fight with the Dark Jedi guys inside the tomb.

oh god please not another flame war. I never really use a female pc so i never got him. I'm a guy so it's not like i'm going to try and get romaticly involved with his data but i just prefer to be a guy and use handmaiden to slaughter my way through wave upon wave of their men..........

Not entirely true. Lose influence a few times and the same thing happens as gaining positive influence. So be an ass to him (or anyone else) if you're DS. Achieves the same thing.

I think they should have been more clear on this issue in the manual or in-game or something....

 

And Calax, I kinda know the feeling...I never played as a male (I did try...) because I had no interest in Handmaiden or romancing the gals.

Neither can I. I can't just leave NPCs upset... especially that woman with children and the journalist in Iziz... But I value influence points above LS points, which are pretty easy to gain.

And when I used a cheat code to make myself 100% dark and looked at party member faces... My god, they made me do WHAT to poor Disciple to get DS Force Crush? This feeling was similar to one in the first game, when I, just as a test, joined Bastila at the dark side. And when I had to kill Mission, I was like "They made me do WHAT to become the Dark Lord?"

I like the fact that Disciple is a unique character that seems slightly out of place in the "Star Wars" scene.

 

I can't help getting the feeling that Atton is simply a re-vamped version of Han Solo. I like a little originality :D

Ive never played female pc how does disciple figure out what kreia is doing?Is there some cutscene I might actually have to play female pc to see unless somebody tells me.I hate not having handmaiden in my team.

Kreia clouds his mind so that he can't remember what he learns until much later in the game -- Mical figures out that something is wrong with life itself. It's kind of hard to explain... (I haven't played for weeks, so I'd rather be vauge than wrong.)

 

I've played both male and female, and honestly I think that Di is much more useful than Handmaiden. The hand-to-hand in skivvies is nice, but no where near as useful. I do like the questions surrounding her parentage, though.

 

That, and the Di romance has kind of a Lancelot feeling to it.
