Kor Qel Droma Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Although I am not a huge fan of his music, Sam Roberts is playing a concert in a baseball diamond about three blocks from my condo. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
alanschu Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 I'm listening to my air fan behind me. Aside from that, it's the sweet, sweet relaxing sound of silence. Although seriously my music preferences are bands like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, U2, etc.
EnderAndrew Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Although seriously my music preferences are bands like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, U2, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All good choices. I also really like A Perfect Circle if we're naming mainstream rock bands.
alanschu Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 A Perfect Circle....if I recall they have a very "Tool" like sound (given that I think at least one band member was from Tool) do they not? I also like Tool....although just their radio songs. They're not radio songs are rather.....bizarre
alanschu Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Not a huge fan of Oasis. But I do like Wonderwall.

alanschu Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 I guess it IS just what you're listening too right now :D
EnderAndrew Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Tool and A Perfect Circle were both founded and fronted by James Maynard Keenan. Tool is a bit heavier, and more industrial. A Perfect Circle is another story. Their first album features some incredible violin work, and I think they have a fairly unique sound.
alanschu Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 I don't mind a good violin. Last of the Mohicans is a killer soundtrack!
