December 28, 200421 yr I have played almost all of the good DnD CRPG, BG 1 and 2 + expansion packs, IWD I and PST. Â I wonder if I should complete my experience in playing IWD as well, mind you its a 2 years old game and I wounder if its any good still. Â Its
December 28, 200421 yr I liked it, but it didn Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story. - Steven Erikson
December 28, 200421 yr Author One of the reason I feel like getting it is because of the portraits IWD has. It might sound stupid but its like a tribute to the artist.
December 28, 200421 yr Well, besides the portraits the graphics in general are the best of any of the IE games. But, that Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story. - Steven Erikson
December 28, 200421 yr Author I dont like the fact that I am buying a product off another source beside a shop or some sort of a retailer. Â That means I have to open some sort of account and worrying about package and if the box that comes with it its sealed, damanged or what not.
December 28, 200421 yr I have both games .. and I really like IWD2 .. for a multitude of reasons, I think it's a good story (not as great as 1 but good), and the character options are way better than IWD1 imo .. Â I would give IWD1 a 9/10 and IWD2 a 8/10! I really like how you visit all the old places in the sequal and see how it's changed.. Fortune favors the bald.
December 28, 200421 yr Wasn't J.E. Sawyer lead designer of that game? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep! Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story. - Steven Erikson
December 28, 200421 yr IWD 2 is defintiely a challenge. I should try to go through that game again solo.
December 28, 200421 yr "Btw, Volourn will chirp in and say it DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
December 28, 200421 yr i think the hardest part of the game was making your party...wow, that took FOREVER. the first and last chapters were really fun to play.
December 28, 200421 yr I'm really wierd in that sense .. I love making characters .. and would make like 50 different parties just for the sake of doing it! ahh so good .. Fortune favors the bald.
December 28, 200421 yr "If you like making parties, then you will enjoy icewind dale 2." Â Simply not true for all people. <_< DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
December 28, 200421 yr I still loved it .. silly me .. especially the music! Fortune favors the bald.
December 28, 200421 yr I like making table-top characters for good systems, such as the World of Darkness. There's a lot more to it than rolling attributes.
December 29, 200421 yr I like making table-top characters for good systems, such as the World of Darkness. There's a lot more to it than rolling attributes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  NARF.  (w00t) , WoD system good ? what have you been smoking there buddy. <_<  Back To topic ->  ID 2, it's not worth anyones time really.  but then again, if you got nothing else to do and you can get it cheap....   As before everything in this post is... IMO "If at first you don't succeed... So much for skydiving." - Henry Youngman.
December 29, 200421 yr "There's a lot more to it than rolling attributes." Â If this is a silly crack at D&D; I hope you realize that its characetr creation is so far past rolling 6 ability scores which takes up such a small, small, small, small, small amount of characetr creation effort. Just plain silly. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
December 29, 200421 yr Where is the portion of D&D character creation where you develop personality, ethics, background, etc? Â You can tell a lot about a roleplaying system by taking a peek at the character sheet. Â D&D is about "roll" playing. You can "role" play in D&D despite the rules. But that's not what the rules cater to.
