I just realised this.
Why was Minsc, the Berserker from Rashemen, bald? According to FR books, Rashemi are black-haired and have rather big-hirsuit and lots of them have beards. Many of the Thay Rashemi are shaving their heads to be similar to the bald Mulan nobility of the place. But the Rashemi living in Rashemen would rather cut of their arm then shave their hair.
So once again. Why was Minsc bald?

Rashemen is mostly desert, and I believe he grew up down-wind of the nuclear testing site.
Thats my theory.

Maybe he was quite a bit older than he let on.......
Or maybe he just had male pattern baldness.

Well, of what I know about Rashemen, is that they are pretty much most hairy humans in Faerûn. They don't go bald...
Poor Minsc.. Not only half-witted, but also bald...

Boo is furry enough for both of them.
Boo isnt a hamster, he's an animated hair piece.

Being overly hairy does not mean such a person cannot go bald. It's a cruel, cruel act on the part of nature, but by no means unusual.
But Minsc was also in self-imposed exile was he not? He may shave his head as an act of displaying his outcast status, or somehow baring his flaws to the world for all to see.
Or maybe he has really bad hair, or curly girly hair and he couldn't stand the ridicule

Did Minsc have a purple tatoo on his head or was it simply warpaint?
Gotta admit I still get a chuckle when I play BG2 and Viconia comments on Minscs "Fingerpaint accident" :D

the hit on his head probably caused it, they use that to explain everything about minsc, i figure it's only fair to add that as well

Is it Rashemen tradition to place your intellect within a small animal companion, thereby expanding the animal's influence on your everyday life?

goddag.
before asking where Minsc's hair is, you need to ask yourself first "If a pie is floating in negative void, what filling is it?"

Only one question ¿where is the problem because Minsc is Bald? The game needed some bald PCs and Minsc was one of them

Why would that be a cruel act of nature if that's how you're supposed to be? This is a concept I've never understood that some people have.

Oops... my inner Druid is showing.
