Obsidian stock symbol

As long as they have cash, there's nothing wrong with not being public.

I never said there was. For some reason I thought they had gone public however. I tried briefly to figure out their symbol without success (obviously) and decided I'd simply ask here.

You would think that Titus would like to buy a few Obsidian shares...

Staying private might cost them money they might earn through going public but it also makes them aswerable to the shareholders, and I think this is very bad for a creative CRPG producer. Shareholders want to earn money and not take risks so they will demand that Obsidian makes "safe" games instead of experimantal ones for small niche groups.

Nah, keep your shares and don't sell Obsidian to another company.

All they've been making so far have been safe games though (and if two big name sequels aren't safe these days then I just don't know what is).

The reason why I asked is that I was just coasting around the ragingbull forum and looking at some of the Iplay stuff...I hadn't even paid any attention to Obsidian's stock setup. Figured I'd ask.

...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!...

A long, long time ago, but I can still remember,
How the Trolling used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance, I could egg on a few Trolls to "dance",
And maybe we'd be happy for a while.
But then Krackhead left and so did Klown;
Volo and Turnip were banned, Mystake got run out o' town.
Bad news on the Front Page,
BIOweenia said goodbye in a heated rage.
I can't remember if I cried
When I heard that TORN was recently fried,
But sadness touched me deep inside,
The day...Black Isle died.

For tarna, Visc, an' the rest o' the ol' Islanders that fell along the way
