Nur Ab Sal Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Somehow, I can't see Master Vrook wearing that Sith Mask and being good with a lightsaber. I still hope it's Bastila You know it would be an excellent irony to see Vrook was running things all the time. I would rather want to see Bastila in more appropriate outfit than black robes and mask. HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.
DarthRevan987 Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 "Somehow, I can't see Master Vrook wearing that Sith Mask and being good with a lightsaber. I still hope it's Bastila " I dunno from the artworks the Masked Sith had a real big Tricep....Either its a really buff woman or its the obvious....A Male....so i doubt its bastila
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 would rather want to see Bastila in more appropriate outfit that black robes and mask. Rigourusly seconded. Her own jedi robes r by far the best outfit for her
oherror Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 yeah i wouldn't be suprised if it was vrook he did always hate revan.
GhostofAnakin Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 You know it would be an excellent irony to see Vrook was running things all the time. I would rather want to see Bastila in more appropriate outfit that black robes and mask. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, having someone like Vrook be behind it all along would actually be somewhat intriguing (albeit following the movies a bit too closely), but I just can't get Ed Asner's voice out of my head and I don't picture the dimwitted grumpy boss of Mary Tyler Moore as a Sith Lord. Although his daughter Jules on the other hand.....*drools* "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Dont think he hated Revan, simply his dislike for this plan to use Revan. Still, he was an old whiner and evry1 complains bout Carth and Bastila being whiners eh?
Nur Ab Sal Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Vrook be behind it all along would actually be somewhat intriguing (albeit following the movies a bit too closely) KOTOR copied movies in more obvious ways (sith fighters *sigh*) HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. DarthRevan987 Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 In all i hope the plot goes smooth...and so does everything else about the game...Or EB games store owns me 50 bucks
Darth Sirius Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Vrook be behind it all along would actually be somewhat intriguing (albeit following the movies a bit too closely) KOTOR copied movies in more obvious ways (sith fighters *sigh*) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well what would you suggest? Please don't say comics because it would be exactly the same, and not everyones fans of those. So what better thing to go along the lines with than the movies?
Darth Sirius Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 In all i hope the plot goes smooth...and so does everything else about the game...Or EB games store owns me 50 bucks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn they own me! And for alot more than 50!
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 I'll tell u why the technology is so similar looking in evry starwars thing around, depending on the era. It is to make it different, yet still give a feeling of familiarity.
DarthRevan987 Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 It can be done just as long its done carefully....If not it will sink like an anchor
Nur Ab Sal Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 You know at least they could try to invent something new. GL in prequels didn't show us same ships as in OT. He came up with delta fighters, federation battleships etc And TOTJ starships are cool and look more powerful than KOTOR clones of GL. HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Think of it like this: One design is so successful it is continually uprgraded and modified no end. Lets not forget that despite similarity in looks, strength of turbolasers, ioncannons, interdictor generators etc, would be massively different
Judge Hades Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 What you guys seem to be forgetting that the Sith contatcted the Mandorians to rage war on the Republic, according to Canderous. Before Revan and Malak became dark siders. The Sith that contacted Mandalore and his people were still out on the Rim of unexplored space. THESE WERE NOT REVAN'S AND MALAK'S SITH that were in KotOR and the real threat the Council saw through the Force. Man, do any of you pay attention to the game?
Adria Teksuni Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Also considering the fact that NO ONE at the Sith Academy recognized you, I'm agreeing with Hades_One on this one. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 and in a first, so am i. The Sith Lords are from beyond the outer rim form the looks of things. Interesting
Judge Hades Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 The plotlines of KotOR and TSL are more complex than what soem of the people think they are. Pay attention to the very details and take notes otherwise you will miss major points of the story. When it comes in deconstructing plot points and story hooks to discern what is going on and taking a look at the big picture it is where I excel at. :D
starwarskid15_19 Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 omg hades i totally agree with you i think this is a first for me aswell the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
Darth Sirius Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Exactley Hades, thats the point I was trying to get across earlier in this post, they are the puppeteers! They have always been there watching progress, biding their time, ALLOWING Revan and Malak to take the title respectivly, waiting for their opportunity to strike, without haste, and IMHO, TSL's is it!
KOTORFanactic Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 (edited) If TSL r indeed from beyond the outer rim, it looks like we may see a brand new species or 2 enter the starwars universe Edited September 25, 2004 by KOTORFanactic
Baneblade Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 If TSL r indeed from beyond the outer rim, it looks like we may see a brand new species or 2 enter the starwars universe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why would there be ???? starwarskid15_19 Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 why wouldnt there be???? the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
Baneblade Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 why wouldnt there be???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> People are generally lazy, so why make something new if you can make do with what you've got. get it ? "If at first you don't succeed... So much for skydiving." - Henry Youngman.
