Amentep Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Yeah Kazuo Umezz = Kazuo Umezu. Not sure why he gets credited both ways. I haven't read Orochi yet it's on my to read pile (with a couple of Ito books). 1 I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Lexx Posted October 5 Posted October 5 It's very horny, but I will for sure watch the next episode. Really dreading the weekly releases, though. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

Gorth Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I watched first episode of Dandadan... that was just awesomeness from start to end! I hope it keeps up like that I'm wondering if they follow Turbo Granny into the tunnel, so Obscure-Kun can get his weenie back and lift the curse, now that they escaped the banana obsessed aliens “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. uuuhhii Posted October 8 Posted October 8 konya wa hurricane couldn't appreciate this song at all despite it seem to be very popular among older anime fan always have terrible taste in music so it is not surprising

Lexx Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I ended up getting the Dandadan manga. Finished the 2nd yesterday, about to start the 3rd maybe today. On the one hand, nice, on the other hand, I wonder how much of this will be in the s1 episodes. 2 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

PK htiw klaw eriF Posted October 8 Posted October 8 So that's four people who like Dandadan here. Does that mean we can start the apocalypse now or do we need a fifth rider? HoonDing Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Season 2 of Frierien should be cross-over with Overlord. Would be mildly amusing seeing the little trollop disintegrated. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Not, like, offensive or anything, but...I think the style of music is just not for me. 4 hours ago, PK htiw klaw eriF said: So that's four people who like Dandadan here. My impression of our Four Riders of the Apocalypse was that it was more to do with the riders being of very different tastes rather than there just being four. Like, if you, Amentep, myself, and Gorth all really liked something, I think that'd be sufficient to initiate the apocalypse. Maybe this would qualify, but I'm not sure. 2 Quote How I have existed fills me with horror. Well we've already got Gorth and I in there and my taste is at least different enough from Sarex and Lexx (see Villeneuve's Dune) so I think we've got at least 3 out of 4. majestic Posted October 9 Posted October 9 I have a hunch that we are fairly safe, because if either @majestic or @Bartimaeus would enjoy Dandadan then the end times are upon us anyway. Besides, I am not sure if we wouldn't need IC for that, being one of the originals. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

Bartimaeus Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 Dandadan (or Dan Da Dan?), episode 1, The End of Dandadan. Because there's currently only one episode, which I am certain will remain true for the foreseeable future. I wonder what percentage of this episode was taken up by either of the main characters screaming, yelling, babbling, or whining, because I watched the whole episode, and it sure felt like a lot. I'm just never going to jive with shows that endeavour to be all-out assaults on my senses, even if they have other good qualities - I now have a headache after watching this, and that kind of makes most everything else meaningless. 1 1 1 Quote How I have existed fills me with horror.
