"NO SMKG" - No smoking on a Huey ?  😛

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

It probably lights up the No Smoking light in the passenger section... maybe there is a Fasten Seatbelt sign too 😁

The Huey has been known to transport passengers in the past.

Well unarmed passengers I guess you meant.   Edwin Starr's "War" really should be the anthem though 😛

A few iconic songs from that time... Paint if Black, War, Where have all the Flowers gone... etc.

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Modern democracy is: the sheep voting for which dog will be the shepherd's right hand.

This was called a mortsafe. It was designed to keep medical students from digging up corpses for anatomy training. Which... is kind of funny.

I did think about making a comment on the prevention of grave-robbing, but it's all funny in the end. ;)

I still have always had a hard time conflating the U.S. with "Rome" because the U.S. has only been a "Rome" since like 1945 or so and is not a protracted empire that has spanned millennia.  It seems in the modern era great powers only last a century or so until the next one comes along.

However, one notable difference between now and the past few centuries is that it looks like Western civilization as a projected entity across the globe appears to be in decline and the East appears to be an up and comer this time around so it'll definitely get more interesting as time goes on.
