Mamoulian War
Ok. Dark Souls 2 is for me definately harder than DS1 Currently I am at around 7 deaths per hour And I hope it gets better. I am still in the Forest area, and I think I'll spent some more time there And I do not know, but I really have feeling, that controls are more clunky than DS1 on PS3 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. The character feels during some fights as less than 30 fps, but there is no graphics lag. Anyway deeper into the forest where i’ve found one more spell, so it should be much better now. 2 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Bartimaeus
lmao - seeing that also reminded me of the fact that they really screwed with rolling in DS2 compared to DS1 and DS3, too...very bad iframes at low agility even at low weight. To be honest, I thought the boss design in DS2 was really underwhelming, and beat most within 1-3 tries. Ugh, that game was just so forgettable compared to the other Soulsborne games. melkathi
Civ6 is very Civilizationy. Because of the way resources were distributed - there was hardly any iron on my starting continent - I built my first airport at the same time I trained my first knight. By the time the knight reached the front line to charge Viking crossbowmen, my privateer fleet was being refitted to submarines. I also couldn't get any oil (there was one oil resource on my continent). In the second war against the Vikings I grabbed their port with oil (I felt very US American, even though I was the Roman Merchant Republic at the time). But when I got the oil rig up and running my tech had advanced so far that I didn't need it anymore. Suddenly I needed Uranium. Uranium held by my friends the Japanese (not trading for it), and my "It's Complicated" Egyptians (I swear, the way Cleopatra kept insulting me one turn to praise me the next, she had the hots for me). The Spanish (kept denouncing me since the early middle ages when Gandhi converted the Roman Republic to Hinduism) and Chinese (kept insulting me because I built more wonders) were faster than me in sending settlers to the two unclaimed uranium spots (though the Spanish, still using catapults and pikemen, didn't know what uranium was). The Chinese made peace with the Egyptians and declared war on me alongside my backstabbing friends the French. That blew my uranium trade deal with the Chinese. They were followed by the Egyptians ("What did I do?" "If you loved me you wouldn't need to ask.") and the Spaniards, who really should have known better after their failed attempt to conquer Hong Kong. I grabbed two small Chinese villages (using bomber jets, mech. infantry, machine gunners, and a balloon), which just happened to be their uranium mining operations, while my fleet blockaded Wuhan, where the Chinese army was embarking to return from their war with the Egyptians. Having secured access to all the game's resources I offered the Chinese peace. With the majority of their army a the bottom of the sea, and no more uranium to build their armor, they gladly accepted, sent me the last 10 tourists I needed and gave me cultural victory. Overall, was rather meh, since a lot of the time I was waiting for the AI to move the countless units it had spammed across the world, just so I could click Next Turn once more. My own house rules for first playthrough I did my best to avoid all these year any spoilers on bossfights for this game, so I might use very bad strategies to defeat some of them We'll see how far will that bring me In DS1 I was able to down all the bosses this way, with the exception of Capra Demon, where after 20 or so corpseruns, I had to look it up on youtube, and the fight became a joke lol... And S&O, where I had to go online, and summon a helper. I was unable to beat them alone in first playthrough. 1 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. ComradeYellow
Replaying TOW. Good ****, doesn't get old. Recommend replaying every 6 months or so until a sequel or spiritual successor comes out. Playing as a solo character who focuses on Long Guns, Science, Engineering, and Medical and wearing armor with gadgets that beefs up my Dialogue skills. Character is near unstoppable, even on Supernova, the only potential hazard is kinda slowish reloading speed so I gotta add Mods that increase magazine capacity in to finish most encounters w/o reloading.

LadyCrimson
BL3 - I'm an idiot. Since I'm FLAK, I can just invisi-run past the first courtyard of the Event Villa, kill the named guy that shows up there (it's random which one), exit, reload, repeat (5-8 minutes). Much faster than clearing entire Villa (an hour). Fishslap can spawn there so in several tries I got a M-5 Yellowcake. I immediately hopped into M-8 with a choice of what seemed the least dreadful modifiers. I could kill the three first guys at the gate but it took all launcher ammo. Ran to the farming section - 2 Badass humans with shields where all ammo for Yellowcake couldn't get even a smidgen shield off, and a M4 Hellshock barely budged the bar. Exit game. Now time for a M-7 Yellowcake farm. Health, shield and armor enemy bonuses in M-5: 1500% Health, shield and armor enemy bonuses in M-6: 3000% Health, shield and armor enemy bonuses in M-7: 5000% Health, shield and armor enemy bonuses in M-8: 7500% Health, shield and armor enemy bonuses in M-10: 12500% M-5 to M-8 is quite a leap. You can see why I don't care about M-10. I think even with a M-10 Yellowcake and a couple other M-10 weapons, it'd be frequent hard deaths to finish runs. I don't play BL for that kind of stress. That does not include the icky modifiers on top, such as FightForYourLife is disabled, enemies are invulnerable to random elements, enemies are invulnerable period until you kill these tiny flying drones "attached" to them, if you stand still Lava pools under your feet all the time, when enemies die they leave a moving sphere that if it touches another enemy heals that enemy 100%, etc.https://borderlands.fandom.com/wiki/Mayhem_Mode Edited May 25, 2020 by LadyCrimson “Things are as they are. Mamoulian War
And Flexile Sentry is down. The boss went down on first attempt, but man-o-man... No-Man's Wharf and all the undead buccaneers were such a pain in the ass, that I've spent 2 and half hours running around and getting killed in all manner of ways possible, getting to his Mist Gate In total 21 deaths in this area Edited May 28, 2020 by Mamoulian War Replaced with YT video. 1 Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Bartimaeus
>No-Man's Wharf and all the undead buccaneers all the areas in this game were such a pain in the ass fixed 2 Quote How I have existed fills me with horror. For I have failed in everything - spelling, arithmetic, riding, tennis, golf; dancing, singing, acting; wife, mistress, whore, friend. Even cooking. And I do not excuse myself with the usual escape of 'not trying'. I tried with all my heart. In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance.
