Melusina Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) I have bunch of good games on my wishlist that are out in 2020 or 2021. Is PS5 the reason why? Edited November 14, 2019 by Melusina https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!

There's difference when five devs want to wait for PS5, but completely different story when basically everyone with good games wants to wait next gen console. Then, your choice isn't to wait for five devs because you're so picky you don't want to play nothing else, it's waiting for host of devs with nothing to play. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!
Melusina Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 And to be honest, OBS is honest dev here. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33102093/ - Picky Gamer Girl!
Mamoulian War Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) I see. Anyway, there are only three games, which picked my curiosity during this years many shows (which I start to ignore more and more, because all I can see in them, is the promotion of under-age gambling and consumer milking): Cyberpunk 2077, Yakuza 7 and Tales of Arise. All of them are coming to current gen stuff as well. CP77 and ToArise will be ported for next gen probably as well. All the other games, which are supposedly coming to PS5 as well, were complete snorefest for me *shrughs* therefore even if I am purchasing completely new games, it is most likely either Indie or Japanese. And still I consider OBS still somewhat Indie developer as well. A game, which has casino elements in game, is for me a big NO, even if I am hyped for that game. Matter of principle. There are enough good games coming to PS4 and PS5 in next years without these anti-consumer practices implemented. melkathi Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I am waiting for Woven to release tomorrow, not the PS5. So no, not everyone Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).
Keyrock Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I suppose it's possible some games are being held up by the imminent hardware launches, but I have to think most big devs have dev kits for the upcoming new consoles by now, and even if they don't, the architecture isn't changing much for the new gen. I mean, they're essentially PCs at this point anyway. RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks
HoonDing Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 There's nothing to play until Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Sarex Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Only game I'm interested in on console is the next part of God of War, which will probably be ps5 exclusive. "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP

Hurlshort Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I'm sure some developers are working on PS5 titles, but I still feel like we are getting a lot of releases now. Death Stranding, for example. I have little interest. My PS4 gathers dust most of the time. I don't even buy blu-rays anymore.
ComradeYellow Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I'm am waiting for the full specs of the next gen consoles to be released so I can upgrade my PC accordingly. If your pc doesn't perform at least 15% better than the current gen console, you're doing it wrong. If they focus too much on 4k crap than uprgrading should not be a sweat!
ShadySands Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I think the PS4 is my last console for a while and everything upcoming that I'm interested is on PC Mostly though it just comes down to time and the kinds of games I enjoy in my dotage 1 Free games updated 3/4/21
ManifestedISO Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 no, not waiting, but it's so much fun, zero day ... last revolution was six years ago today if the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn is a PS5 launch title, then yeah ... All Stop. On Screen.
