October 22, 20196 yr I've already preordered but it's good to see that it's living up to expectations!
October 22, 20196 yr It's getting a bunch of really glowing reviews and some "Good, but here are the flaws" reviews. So far I've only seen one that was apathetic and *none* that are actively "this game sucks". Sounds like a quite strong set of reviews to me.

October 22, 20196 yr https://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/the-outer-worlds/critic-reviews So far, TOW has an 86% metascore, which is outstanding considering it's an old-school RPG with a limited budget and it's not a sequel of an existing IP. For reference, Fallout: New Vegas had a metascore of 84%. TOW is turning out better than I had hoped. My body is ready. The hype is real. (95% of all reviewers recommended it) https://opencritic.com/game/7413/the-outer-worlds Edited October 22, 20196 yr by C2B

That's BEFORE release, wait till all the steam fanbois can swarm the public reviews on the 25th and drive it down just because they are mindless steam drones... It will happen.
October 22, 20196 yr I haven't heard many criticisms of the game that weren't things that were intentional and not to the critics taste or stuff that is a result of the small budget like the areas being a bit small. Some critics had some issues with combat but then some loved it. I heard one critic say the reputation system could have been more meaningful. All in all a pretty amazing result for this game.
October 22, 20196 yr Congratulation team Obsidian. Although I'll playing this game on Xbox Game Pass but also going to buy this game. Its a Gem I need to own.

It's clear to anyone who played FNV when it first came out that it was released way too early. I guess Bethesda didn't want FNV to look too good in comparison to their Oblivion with Guns.

I guess... I dunno… let the designers die on every hill. It's their job to make the game. It's my job to play and hopefully enjoy it. If you understand that, then you'll understand this: congrats, mate. "Not for the sake of much time..."
