Hmm the Bard goal is looking very likely.  I'd rather it were for the Bard class than more music tracks, but an expanded soundtrack is nice, too.

The monk stretch goal seems doubtful, but I suppose it could be hit afterwards through slacker backer pledges... Watch the gaming news sites finally cover this KS once it's over :banghead:

I must say was just reading an update, I don't think I am pronouncing one single name correctly ... very German of them to confuse my English with their spelling ;)

We have previous experience, as it were. 120% funded! The campaign is officially over. Can't wait to play this game, that's for certain!

Wonder what happens in case of someone making "funny" pledges

Your character will be locked in a town stocks for all eternity and subject to various abuses.

In the wake of Obsidian's aquisition, it's nice to know the model of independent crowd-funded iso-crpgs is a legacy that other's are following. I think that's a sign of good things to come, in both short and long term.

True.  Though I can't help but think that this could have raised five times as much five years ago.  I mean, €120K is only a small portion of the total cost to develop a game like this. Fortunately in this case the developer already has a great deal of the engine and art assets made already so they should be able to make it to early access.

Anyway, at least the goal was met. I couldn't bare another Seven Dragon Saga :(

Actually when you first sign up Kickstarter checks the payment method to see if it is valid, and if that changes in the course of the campaign, you have the option to fix your pledge.  The couple Kickstarter that I was involved with the "funny" pledge thing happens, but it was rare in our case.  Plus campaigns are short so it is unlikely that one payment method will go bad in the 30 to 60 days they run.

Josh Sawyer recently told us in his Frog Helms Fan Club:

"RTwP games can be a lot of fun, but I personally prefer turn-based."

And on Twitter he has supported Realms Beyond, and in a tweet just hours ago, he says that he is "genuinely excited to be a lich king".

Wow!

They finally made a PayPal option available shortly after the Kickstarter passed. Only a limited number of options now though.
