Zonalar Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 So yeah. Ive been drawing the crash-effect from Svef for like, the majority of my game now. and what i thought would be useful to use in Hour 7 of the game, Im now more than a bit unnerved that I cant find a way - ANY WAY - to get rid of the crash malus. Does it go away after a week? Do i need to rest a certain number of times? does the Svef Crash effect stay FOREVER?Please helpPS: Dont do svef kids. you gonna snot your brains out. 2
gkathellar Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Resting and/or more svef. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
thundercleese Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 May need to rest with food (like removing injuries). Or yeah, imbibing any drug will remove the crash effect. 1
thundercleese Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 The cure to a hangover is more alcohol. "Hair of the dog" 1
Boeroer Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 I think a crash is handled like an injury: rest with food. I never encountered such a lengthy crash. Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Loren Tyr Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Yeah, just rest with food. Or preferably, just keep taking drugs. Doesn't matter which either, as long as you keep getting high you'll be fine 3
Boeroer Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Get the pipe that you can hang around your neck and that gives you a Whiteleaf trip after every rest. Must-have for a Nalpasca obviously... 1 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods

Ripple sponge or bust If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
Boeroer Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 I already have a bust. It's called "the Steward". So I guess I will have to ripple a sponge...? 2 Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
JFutral Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Does the ring or necklace or whatever it is that's supposed to help hangovers help with drug crash? I never tried since never use svef, et. al. But I've always been curious. Joe
Boeroer Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 No. It doesn't even prevent alcohol hangovers (those you get after being boozed and then rest without alcohol). I guess it's only useful for scripted interactions where you have to drink...? Deadfire Community Patch: Nexus Mods
Hulk'O'Saurus Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 I would love me some good old-school addiction like in Fallout 2, where Jet makes you a killing machine, but then you have to suffer the consequences.
Zonalar Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Thank you for the swift answers! I took a rest in an Inn and promptly recovered from my Svef-Crash. I will stick with prostitutes to keep my stats high from now on!Konstante is always welcome on my ship~
InsaneCommander Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Drugs, alcohol, prostitutes... No wonder the Watcher take their time to go after Eothas. Yes, they are exploring the Deadfire. 3

Big-Ben Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 I hope this topic survives till the end of time so future generations thought we took copious amounts of drugs before battle and that others encouraged this. 2 Yes! We have no bananas.
Hulk'O'Saurus Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 ^ Here... let me do my bit to insure it's longevity.
Epixia Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I stand witness to this true fact of Eoran history. Everyone killed everyone and no was sober ever.
