Hello, I am attaching a screen where the word "pożądny" is spelled as "porządny" - the pronunciation is the same, but the meaning is different. The first ("pożadny") means in this context a meaningful or valuable gift, while the latter "porządny" means a "tidy" gift, whatever that is. My girlfriend said she wouldn't even notice that if not for me though so not really worth it to edit it I guess. Also this is my first post, way to start a forum career. Hey! Edit: Now that I think about it, this might have something to do with Kana being somewhat weird.

Translation issues - Polish
Peterski posted a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hi Guys, so far only one thing of note - the Polish version of the game shows the "Enchant" button in English when you right click on item details. It should be showing "Zaklinanie". See attached screenshot. -
Update by Brandon Adler, Lead Producer Hello, everyone. It has been a little while since our last update to our backers and there have been some important developments (and additional goodies) of which I'd like to make you all aware. Additional Time for Polish and FeedbackThrough your help and feedback, the Pillars of Eternity team has spent the past two years creating a fun, fulfilling experience. An open development has enabled us to interact with our fans and backers in a way we weren't able to in the past, and this has really helped shape Eternity into a game that we all hoped it would become. Plus, with the Backer Beta, we have been able to get excellent feedback from our backers that we are using to shape Eternity into an even better game. We really can't thank you enough. To incorporate as much feedback as possible, polish every nook and cranny of the game, and make sure we don't ship a buggy game, Obsidian has decided to push the game's release into early next year. We are going to use the extra time to make Eternity shine for our backers, and a game that we were proud to call our own and would live up to your expectations. Once again, we want to thank you for making this all possible. With your help we can bring Eternity across the finish line. Speaking of Backer BetaWe are hard at work implementing feedback and bugfixing items in the Backer Beta. One of the major focuses for the team over the past few weeks was adding in additional character progression options and cleaning up UI to make combat a little less chaotic. You can expect everything from additional Talents and Ability selection choices to UI and HUD improvements in our next update. We are also very close to getting the Mac and Linux versions of the Backer Beta to you guys. It may even make it into the next Beta update. In fact, here is one of the Backer Beta requested UI changes - Infinity Engine-style targeting reticles. Physical Replacement for Documentary DVDs and Blu-raysA while back we mentioned that we were going to be removing the documentary DVDs and Blu-rays as physical rewards because we would be unable to include the end of production so the discs could be pressed in time for delivery. The documentary will now only available as a download through the backer portal. To compensate we have created a brand new memo-style notepad for those backers that would have received a physical version of the disc. Here are a couple of pages from the Pillars of Eternity themed notepad. Plea for SurveysEven though we have locked down backer rewards on the portal, we are still able to add in memorial and credit text into the game. If you have memorials or backer credits, and you haven't filled out your survey, please head over to the backer portal and fill them out. Italian LocalizationsMany of our Italian-speaking backers asked for us to include them in the list of languages we were localizing for the game. After speaking with Paradox about the issue it was decided that we would include Italian localizations. For those folks that have access to the Backer Beta, they should see Italian languages options (and corresponding translations) as soon as our next update. BEDLAM! What do you get when you mix turn-based combat, rogue-like inspired features, and giant armored machines? BEDLAM! Check out this new Kickstarter by our friends at Skyshine Games and get into the post-apocalyptic fun. It is inspired by games like Banner Saga, FTL, and XCOM. How can you go wrong?

patching for Polish subtitles?
milczyciel posted a question in South Park: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I'm just watching a stream in Polish (subtitles only, thank God no one got an idea about dubbing) and let me tell you that Polish translation is done badly on more than just a few occasions. Even worse than a lazy job - it's sometimes misleading making game technically worse. Let me give you two example I just saw: -"socially excluded" from one of the game inscriptions should be translated to "wykluczony społecznie" rather than "socjalnie wykluczony" because "socjalnie" have strong ties to things like "social security" and almost no connection to things like social media in Polish -special attacks effects popup suggests it's weak against a given opponent, when in fact it's the other way around (that streamer I mentioned didn't realize that until he was said so by the chat user who played the english version before) Plus, and I may be wrong on that one so in such case please correct me, it also seems they didn't bothered hiring the oryginal translator (Tomasz Kutner) of the series, thus ending up with inconsistencies between game and sitcom. That's something I can live with though.... So, the question is: are subtitles going to be patched? Because if not, then I will have to consider buying it either on steam (not very fond of) or import the box from UK (I'm a box fetishist ) or just letting it go (game looks to good to do that). ATM I do not consider Ubisoft Polska (or whoever is directly responsible) lazy job to be worth my money. Of course I know it's possible to change subtitles back to the oryginal (at last on steam) but while buying the game retail version in Poland I'm ending up rewarding someone, who IMO does not deserve it. AGAIN. Thanks in advance. -
"That's me. Sat in the corner. In the dark. Waiting for the party to finish before cleaning up after everyone. Never a thank you, and if I try to mingle people avoid me. It's alright for the character classes - they're dangled in front of people like shop mannequins, enticing them in to spend the shinies. Dungeon levels - come on out. Player housing... Stronghold... Big big cities.. all glittery and gold. Even George Ziets.. sigh. I dream of being George Ziets. But no. I'm not something to stick on a glossy front cover. I'm not going to make anyone pledge more money. So I'm just left in the corner, watching the mound of things to do grow larger and larger. 'We don't need you anymore' someone says, cruelly. 'Let the community do it!' *sniff* Their heart's in the right place, I'm sure. Some poor gamers who think even my job is glamorous. They'll see. It's often the same story. 'Nice game', they say, 'shame about the bugs'. 'Shame about the lack of polish'. 'Just needs a bit more work'. My fault. That's me. QA. No-one loves me. Please don't forget about me."
