  1. SUGGESTIONS: *NOTE* I'm on Xbox so its preview game. So some of these may be on the full release? 1) ability to show friends distance from you just like the GPS markers 2) dandelion flooring 3) colored carpet (different colored flower petal and gnat fuzz for example) 4) acorn fence gate 5) half walls 6) dandelion stairs 7) colored stair runners (same idea as carpet) hammock (portable but breaks after so many uses) need two grass to connect it to or build hammock posts? 9) ability to dual wield daggers (maybe a new armor perk) 10) tubular building structures (hamster maze) 11) Rock climbing spikes make it so you have to jump from spike to spike? 11) new resource gold, flakes of gold used for crafting new tools for faster collection but quicker break? Can be farmed from a bracelet or novelty gold flake jar thrown in the yard 12) ability to change difficulty on multi-player server (i would be okay with only being able to increase but not decrease!) For me when I click on the difficulty of the server it shows the options but won't let me change it from medium. 13) new outfits, obviously there's been other people shrunk or else there wouldn't be so many tiny skeletons and sca.bs laying around they wore clothes too 14) dragonflies, ability to craft saddles to let us fly! (Day dreaming on that one) 15) abilty to build inside caves and stuff
  2. Playing Grounded today with a friend, we both agree that the sound that the Grubs make when they are moving underground around you is way too loud. It overpowers the sound of the Wolf Spiders in the tree, even when they are chasing and attacking you. I feel that it should be slightly audible with controller vibration on console (like the ground moving beneath your feet, a tremor.) SUGGESTION: - Decrease the volume of the Grub as it moves under the ground. - Make controller vibrate when near a moving Grub, based on proximity.
  3. It would be super helpful if you could flag an item/tool/ETC to alert you when you have gathered all the parts to craft it. That way you wouldn't have to repeatedly check your inventory to see if you've got enough of something to craft it. I imagine you could either have all the needed parts on screen, or a less intrusive system where it just pops up when all the parts have been gathered. Loving the game! Keep up the awesome work! Thank you!
  4. Two things I have noticed we need on the main game screen/interface (NOT menus). We need the in-game time displayed as we are moving around, and a compass. I know what is to the north, what is to the south, etc. But I don't know which way I'm traveling unless I open the map. And every piece of grass looks similar, so it's hard to use the terrain to tell which way I'm going as I am actually moving. If I make a wrong turn because of terrain or something in the way, I have to open the map to look up my position and direction again. But if I know that I'm supposed to be heading straight north, I can adjust myself in the game after avoiding the obstacle, and then head north again. This would be especially important when I realize there's a spider nearby (which I can not kill) and I start running away from it. I'd like to be running in the direction I'm trying to go, instead of the opposite, or far off to the side! The in-game time display would help me figure out how far away "sleep time" is, how far into sleep time I have stayed awake, etc. I know certain things from the SCA.B turn green when it's sleep time, but I just traveled all the way to the eastern edge of the map, only to realize it was sleep time when I got there. My shelter was on the far WEST side! So instead, I chose to work through sleep time and finish my task (gathering LOTS of clay for a new and upgraded shelter). Then I was wanting to know how far in to the "sleep time" I had gone, and whether or not it was worthwhile to travel back across the map to sleep, or just keep going in to the next day. A clock that is always visible would have helped me figure that out before I did all of that running. I feel like both of these things are necessary to keep from getting purely frustrated over tiny things in the game.
  5. As well as the ability to turn on/off the markers; How about the ability to filter them? For example, if Im only looking for resources, I should be able to see only the leaf marker that I created. Im at a point in the game where there are so many markers when I turn them on.
  6. I'd love to build a web app for this game to help players find resources on the map, but 2 things make this difficult. First, there isn't a displayable map coordinate system. Adding an accurate lat/lon or similar coordinate or grid system would help users find specific items. Second, it would be great if you made available some of the game assets, like item icons, that could be used in fan-made web apps. Great job so far! Loving the game and all the recent improvements!
  7. Implement something that can filter the puddles into drinking water. Maybe something like the canteen to scoop up the water then go back to your base and filter it into drinking water.
  8. Hello, not sure if this has already been talked about but I had an idea when it comes to building. I was getting my base ready for the upcoming update and wanted to replace my normal grass walls with sturdy walls. The process of replacing each wall with the risk of destroying a build and loosing materials is getting old. I was just thinking that a feature could be added or looked into where for example if you have a regular grass wall, instead of destroying the wall completely, you could just add a wood stem to it making it a sturdy wall, saving a lot of time. Obviously this wouldn't work with some things but I thought it would make peoples lives a lot easier. Again, not sure if its been talked about but just and idea.
  9. Many of us have lost mint due to various reasons. Sometimes a friend logs off with it and doesn't come back. Some of us had our death bags dissappear. Sometimes our friends have had their inventory wiped when they rejoined our worlds. The community appreciates how fast the development team is fixing issues, but I have a simple suggestion for those of us that have lost precious mint. If mint could respawn over time (at least for a little while). It would greatly help those of us that lost this precious resource.
  10. please get split screen for this game, iknow its a big requests but id love to play this game with my siblings and friends localy.
  11. I dont know how often if at all this is suggested but Im too lazy to search. Have you guys ever considered adding a local / splitscreen mode of multiplayer? I just thought it would be cool to be able to play with friends on the same couch kind of like minecraft.
  12. So I've read just A few entries here (not all) and I didn't see an idea for a shield nor a vehicle. For the shield, maybe rubber and an acorn shell could be used to make it. It could be used in combo with the single handed weapons. I can't begin to tell u how many times I wished I had a shield while fighting spiders. Now for the vehicle, the acorn tops could be wheels, grass blades and weed stems for the body, sap for lights, and maybe a basket for storage made from woven fibers and clovers. A little golf cart type vehicle would be helpful with transporting things and in multiplayer it would be fun to have races. As little people, we work so hard building and trying to survive. Why not have a little fun and race eachother on little or big tracks we make. Imagine having a long distance race around the backyard. How much fun would it be to make a track around the acorn tree and race while spiders are going nuts trying to figure out how to get u as u wiz by? Lol, I would love that!!!!
  13. Are you planning on having ladybugs and stink bugs fly eventually? Also how about spiders being able to hang from branches and other objects. They are already scary enough but I've found myself looking up when I'm around the oak tree expecting to see a wolf spider hanging above me. I watched the dev interview so I know there are technical challenges to creature movement already. Also from the dev interview they asked about introducing larger 'boss' creatures. I was thinking in the context of the science in this world you could have events with controlled conditions. For example who's to say that whoever created the tech for this world/environment didn't create an artificial barrier around it. The barrier would such that it keeps certain types of creatures out of the back yard in order to have control of experimentation. You could then have that barrier glitch/fail which would allow a larger creature to get in. Then in order to battle the larger creature you would need to perform missions to fix the glitch and also find a way to battle the creature through using tech/traps and team work. Not something like a trinity battle but coordination and creative problem solving. Say I'm the bait that has to run while a teammate springs a trap that's set using a specific location in the yard. Or you have to find a way to say stun a creature with a sound device or use it to drive them away. Obviously it would have to scale and adjust for single and co-op but allow for different options to try and defeat or drive it away.
  14. How about a waypoint marker that I can click on the map to head towards and/or show my teammates where to go.
  15. Here is a list of things that I would like to see added: 1. A pallet Lift that you could hang off of the side of your base or that looked similar to the large anchor system in raft that you would be able to put a pallet on for either grass or stems. The purpose of this would be so that you can carry items up the side of high objects or your base more effectively. My base is on a high hill to start and it has 10-12 flights of stairs in it to get to the top at the moment. It is taking me quite a while to build when i am only able to carry 8 pieces (ant armor) at a time. It would also be nice to be able to use it as an elevator. 2. A pull behind wagon/cart that you could make from stems that you also could put a pallet on or chests. Something simple, two wheels a pallet and a stem on each side that the character can get in between and pull the cart with. Some of the weeds in the game are quite a ways away and if you are building a resource intensive base it would be nice to have this so that you can gather a lot of resources at one time. 3. Locks, while it is fun to play with your friends. Some items and resources you may not want them to be able to get a hold of or if you are playing with a random person, you may not want them to be able to get in the chest and take resources at all. 4. A simple poll structure that you can attach roof pieces to so that you can make a more open bridge, rooftop, gazebo, etc. 5. When crafting, i would like a multiplyer so that i do not have to keep spamming the button until i run out of resources. Maybe have a slider to select the amount and a button to where i can craft all that i am able to with the resources that i have on me. 6. Add tadpoles, you could kill them and craft scuba fins from their tales and a wet suit from there bodies so that you can swim deeper in the lake by the burgl tree. 7. Add a toad about the size of the wolf spider so that there could be tadpoles.
  16. You know? Where you could start the game over again with your current level and items. I love this game so far. I'd definitely play it again.
  17. Hello everyone, Don't know of it's been suggested yet but what's everyone think about critical points on the larger enemies? I'm not suggesting weakening them but I am suggestion points on creatures that, when hit, cause extra damage. I think this would allow for a more tactical way of approaching the larger, more dangerous creatures as well as making players in Multiplayer plan their attacks. I'm open to suggestions and criticism as always. Thank you in advance and be safe out there!
  18. I think the ability to retract the bow is needed. Let's say Im using the bow and aiming at something but it flees. Now, Im stuck with the only option is to shoot my arrow then retrieve it. I should be able to retract the bow and not waste that time shooting the arrow at nothing since my target fled.
  19. Suggestions: “Make The Saves Available to play Offline”, “Have a Option to Clear all Insects from world for Better FPS” (Have a lot of Insects Glitching under map and not Despawning.
  20. Suggestion: there should be lab "stuff" the player can scan to unlock blueprints for building underwater bases and a submarine. Most of these would require metal that could be mined from rocks and smelted in a clay oven. Ideally, the lab "stuff" would be lying around various labs as a part of the damage they have endured, giving the player another reason to explore the labs. An additional item, glass, should be make-able using the clay oven after gathering sand with a shovel from a sandbox. The sandbox could be part of a park in the neighborhood, or as a part of a backyard.
  21. After the update, neither my mushroom farm or dew collector was working, fortunately, I moved next to the pond, next to the Spiders + Flowers, and Nectar its still spawning there for me (anywhere that have flowers, it does have nectar sprinkled around the ground), which its helping me to manage my thirst and hunger, I still see a lot of mushroom spawning outside of my mushroom farms (sometimes I think way too much mushrooms, which i kinda feel like its related to as why they're not growing in the mushroom farm), but yeah, this is what I do: Gather Nectar in 2 different spawns each day, because I think nectar did not stopped spawning (for me at least) Drink dirty water + Roasting Spit (Weevil, Aphids, etc) I've been playing with no mushroom farm + dew collector for about 20 days in game, and its how i have been managing to survive. I'm just saying this here so players like me that loved this game, who wants to keep playing even though it got its resources messed up after this last update, so I hope this helps.
  22. I've spent the last 40ish days in game with a non functioning Dew Collector and Mushroom Garden. This is how I spend my beginning of the days drinking dirty water (I live next to the pond) then I go out and kill Weevils, or Gnats sometimes Grubs and I put them on the Jerky Rack. I try to get at least 3 at a time so I have a decent amount of food to go off and replenish after drinking the dirty water. I also collect as many mushrooms as possible while running around doing missions for B.U.R.G.L as well as hunting Lady Bugs and Wolf Spiders to stock up on parts This is really just my workaround I just wanted to share with people who might've given up hope for the game because of a few small bugs while its still in its earliest stages. Its not impossible to survive, it just adds a couple extra routines to the game.
  23. So, i noticed the second a enemy is out or range it instantly regenerates health at a fast pace. this can be annoying when trying to fight a tough enemy like a spider, a way to fix this mabye is to have like a minute delay or something before it can regan all its health. please fix it somehow
  24. there should be more spiders added in future so I made a list of potential candidates from what probably makes the most sense to the least 1. hobo spiders would make a nice addition to the game having a moderate threat level between the orb weaver and wolf spider 2. daddy long legs would be really cool in an ecosystem like grounded preying on weak bugs like aphids to uncommonly trying to prey on other spiders! 3. brown recluse is likely to be really deadly and poisonous, the only reason its low is because im not sure they will add this since we have the wolf spider already i personally hope they add the daddy long legs (yes i know there are multiple spiders under this nickname but you get the idea) but even if none of these are added I think it would be cool to see certain spiders preying on each other
  25. I personally think a weather system would be nice. Like rain which could lead to floods and other things forcing you to higher ground, mini mini tornadoes, maybe even snow where you have to make warm armor to brave the cold. There could also be boats added for over water travel and maybe fish bosses that you could tackle which would be complimented by a underwater lake exploration maybe flippers scuba mask, ect those sorts of things.
