Red Eclipse bug AND game editor *need save files*
BattleCookiee replied to samiur's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Even though I have no idea of the real issue: After the killing of the Boss you should be placed back to an "enter Ebon Hawk" mode. After that (and possible movies/Visas encounter) you can leave the Hawk, where you get a message, then proceed as plotted. Otherwise, see here if that didn't has a possible fix for this (whatever it is) problem... -
*Thread pruned* Even as a Joke, please refrain from Neo-Nazism... Also some other disturbing posts got removed...

It could be me, but I don't see anywhere that enemies can also do that to you...
-
Went to 50. And that's the Max. anyway. Negative side effect of being lvl 50 is that the amount of lightsabers you get is reduced to almost zero (except own build, found on corpses)
-
Well, that one is for XP, not to get past "Kreia's Convo" without gaining DS-points...

Those 3 are good suggestions, yes. If the "fight on the street" is non-lethal, and the other just gets back up later pissed on your character... But NPC's killing off other NPC's just isn't good (except for some scripted missions. Not 2 random people trying to kill each other...) Knocking down swords from the player can be tough to implent. Let's look at the possibilities: Get's kicked in inventory Then you'll just re-equip it Get's placed on the ground See above, just picking the weapon back up before that *Hide the weapon* untill after the fight is over... How do you determine when that would be? Does fleeing also give it back? If so (if not REALLY bad way) how far do you have to run? Does during this *hide* the weapons weight be taken into calculation? Or not? Alot of bug testing would be needed to prevent added/reduced weight (very nice bug in MW) or Weapon *dissapearances* *Throw* the weapon far away This way it would be lost for the Player if he flees; what the goal is in your example. If it is a quest-specific weapon, can it mess up the storyline? If so do "story-line weapons" be un-knockoutable"? If so, how to prevent players from using Quest-specific weapons for these kind of fights? As you can see, it is not "that" easy... And design certainly has to be taken into consideration...

KotOR2 media patch discussion at Evil Avatar
BattleCookiee replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
We clearly deal with an imposter here. And since we also go to the side of "Attacking other Members" we shall preventively lock this one... -
Blowing doors with explosives
BattleCookiee replied to GSpotFrenzy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Which totally doesn't work. Since to *prevent* the Holocron from damaging Revan must be Dark Side... -
Where about is this? I've never had that problem and always play through on lightside... but i do have some bug-fixes installed, so maybe thats it Can also be done with an un-moddified game. Just go down the "Epathy is dead" route...

where do you find all of the Mandalorians?

Plot Floors of kotor 2
BattleCookiee replied to LORD GRAVEN's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why should backgrounds for all the characters be spoken out? It's a "decide for yourself" thing, not a "plot floor". Yes. "Decide for Yourself", ehm, how about: No. This is a videogame, not some philosophy program designed to think everything about your teammates up. Mira had (like all other NPC's in Kotor2) alot less convo's than the NPC's in Kotor1. There were alot of things; like her parents and such being kept hidden His background is revealed: he was a Sith Assassin. And I think Atton is his real name. Well, yes, but usually you are not born as a Assassin of age 20. Who was he before he came an Assassin and what was his name before (and it's not Atton)? Nothing happened to him, it was the Remote's programming that caused him to act. Probably Bao-Dur was afraid of stepping on the planet he indirectly (by inventing the MSG) did so much damage to. Either that, or the consoles were only accessible by a droid (the Exile cannot use them, for instance). Yes. But there was a trigger ofcourse... Droids don't just start "triggers" out of themselves. What was this trigger (also see Remote/Go-to encounter on the Hawk, WTF did he do there)? The Redemption quest is bugged, but you do redeem the Jedi's reputation after saving Khoonda. Not really. Most people still hate Jedi's (well, not that there live more than 10 people on Dantooine, but still ) Kreia admits to locking the navicomputer so that you wouldn't dump her. T3-M4 quite clearly hints it was Revan who locked it. (Although they could out in a scene where HK-47 tries to unlock the navicomputer with Kreia's voice, but fails.) Well, if she didn't was required for it, why couldn't I just say so and dump her in the beginning. If I tried really hard not to take her with me it was "but you can't fly your ship without me"... And it also doesn't explain why HK tells about how he can unlock it and then never does even if you know (T3/Kreia/Revan) By "others", do you mean the True Sith beyond the Outer Rim? They were probably too far away for Nihilus to sense them. Oh. He can't sense the True Sith clutched together, but he does can sense the Jedi far away on Katarr? (Cut content explains it; Atris reveiled it. But ingame such info can never be found; so plothole...) The Ebon Hawk wasn't destroyed, it was just badly damaged. It's just a graphical issue that it doesn't bear the damage. Nope. Didn't saw it falling down in Green Magma in a movie called "EBON HAWK'S DEATH"... No, never did All your party members (except probably G0-T0 and the Remote) are safe and sound on the Ebon Hawk when it rescues you. As for why Kreia didn't "resurrect" Mira, I don't know, I didn't play DS. But I can assume that Mira didn't have as much hatred to Hanharr as he had to her, so she would probably refuse to fight him. Cut content tells otherwise, but acting on ingame-content (since that is what this thread is about. Plot holes in Kotor2 you would find if you have no idea of cut content): Nice theory... -
Where to find Permacrete Detonators?
BattleCookiee replied to JediMutantX's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In the Library of the Sith Temple. Near the Datacube telling you to be carefull with the box next to it... On Dantooine, you get one when you kill the droid-parts dealer outside (find his hydrospanner, then wipe him) -

1600x680 And I don't see any improvements... -
Big point of MW too. The PC was Uber way too fast, and the same low-level monsters kept coming up. So if it was just done by cheats has to be seen. And knowdown/disarm and zoom, well, that's going to make it even easier (and boring)? How much damage can an enemy do when his Daedra Uber-Sword is not even in his hands? You can stop blocking/strafing right away and keep hacking (as in MW) For the dialogue; as I said: Hopefully, but I fear the worst here. Since we have voices they can't just give 2000 NPC's the same "Last Rumor" without having a lot of lines recorded and taking up space... But just the convo options needed, as seen in this movie, isn't going to help the "Freedom" feeling the ES-Series should have at all... The dog thing: If it is a joke, then it would be pre-scripted = Bad Sign for the actual ingame AI. As said before "Fargoth's Quest" made for the movie anyone? If it is NOT scripted then it is bad too, I don't wan't to loose NPC's just because another find he/she should kill him/her. That option should be only available to me; the PC... Which could also be a bad thing. Alot of Morrowinds lenght came of huge walking parts, if you can skip it instantly from any position free now, gameplay time may shorten by alot. Plus would be FedEx jobs get less annoying; but now when they make those less annoying they remove most out of the game <_<

Then the question is: Is the lowest level the worst, or the highest level?
-
That was the KOTOR2 Section... No problems if you guys do it here... Hey, isn't WoT created for that purpose?
