  1. If real boxing is like fight night 2003 then the winner will be whoever wiggles their upper body more to deliver epic hook counter attacks.
  2. Video games in general are a big deal. When people have false assumptions about BG2 it's a big deal. I am so serious about this. This freakin' matters.
  3. +3 Weapons are needed.Nope. Please explain why I would NEED +3 weapons. I care. Sannom has insulted BG2 with false claims. This is a big deal.
  4. +3 Weapons are needed. Nope. Please explain why I would NEED +3 weapons. So are 6th and above level spells for the liches. Nope. I can kill liches without using level six or higher spells. Just send in skeleton warriors (a level 3 spell for clerics) to have liches waste all their spells on; then follow up with a paladin with Carsomyr. Or just send in a very high level Monk. You need something with fire or acid damage to get rid of trolls. Nope. Death spells kill them too.
  5. More reactivity would be nice. This is one of the reason I only want a few more areas. Those few areas will be well designed and have lots of reactivity.
  6. Your requests seem out of the expansion's scope. Remember that this will be a Tales of the Sword Coast style expansion.
  7. We'll be getting more areas and things to do for sure. How many more areas is the question. I'm hoping we'll only be getting a few new areas that will be very well done, rather than a lot of decent content.
  8. That made me laugh.
  9. I have always hated the word "censorship", I prefer seeing it as just removing content that isn't suitable or is considered offensive That's what censorship is Bruce.
  10. In my opinion it's much better than avengers 1. Here's why: 1: Less arguing and more fighting. Super Hero movies are not smart. I don't want to choke down like forty straight minuets of bad exposition. I just want to see guys with powers beat people up; Avengers 2 get's this, and has more action through out to keep me entertained. 2: While the plot isn't "good" (not that a super hero movie even really needs one), it is still better than the story of the first one. 3: The fights with Ultron are waaay better than the fight(s?) with Loki (if you even consider the Hulk slamming Loki over and over a fight). I think avengers 1 is a 3/5, and avengers 2 is a 4/5.
  11. That's neat and all, but that ain't no daredevil.
  12. No, Sarex likes IWD more than BG if I recall correctly. Why do you like IWD better than BG anyway? To me IWD has always seemed really constrained and soulless. Still decent games, but nothing to brag about.
  13. BG2 was awful. BG was better. In some ways this absolutely true. Overall I think BG2 is better, but not by a whole lot. BG2 introduced a lot of cool things (sub kits, half-orcs as a playable race, ect.), but it also introduced some bad things (made dual classing way too OP, level scaling, ect.). Not to mention it got rid of the big open areas to explore. I also like the soundtrack of BG2 less than BG1. Still , I think BG2 is better. So, how does PoE compare to these games? I'm going to wait for the expansion to say.
  14. Wrong! Story was mediocre, but well presented. Characters were entertaining and memorable. Far better than most RPG's where companions express themselves through exposition exclusively. Combat was fine. Awesome character creation that holds up fine to this very day, vast areas to explore (and are worth exploring), and an epic/atmospheric soundtrack. BG1 is better than the overwhelming majority of rpg's made since. Only a few rpg's in existence are better.
  15. When was anyone promised "a best CRPG"? I can't help it.
  16. Young man how dare you interrupt?? Now back to your room and play some more NWN/BG I'll go to my room, but I'll never play NWN again.
  17. If Obsidian increases the level cap then they should amp up the final battle to keep the final battle at least kinda challenging.
  18. It's really quite simple. A bunch of southerners left the democrats and joined the republicans. Much to our misfortune; at least in terms of policy.
  19. This. Just let them do what they want, they aren't hurting anyone.
  20. A libertarian has introduced legislation on favorite libertarian issues, ergo, he cares about blacks. Gotcha. Have you ever wondered why libertarians favor criminal justice reforms? Could it be they recognize that law enforcement has been unfarily hard on people, and yes, noticed it effects black people the most? There are reasons why people are libertarians you know. Well said! People who favor big government should stand up and cheer ever time a cop beats or kills someone. That is government in all it's glory. I don't think that's something many of them intend Guard Dog.

  22. No, I haven't. I'm curious too, who is the comrade you're thinking of? I'm curious where this is going as well.
