Supēsu Kobura / Space Cobra Episode XV: "Ryū Suishō no Tomoyo!" aka "My Dragon Crystal Friend!" Cobra goes to help an old friend, Vega, who he promised to share a drink with. It was an okay episode. Interesting to see the original Cobra look on display again for the flashback - I didn't figure it'd come up again (although they also make sure to have Vega unable to recognize him until he shows the Psychogun). "OG Cobra"

Maybe in the same general ballpark, but not really the same. Mind you I read the Biobooster Armor Guyver manga years ago.

Season 7. Edit: to be fair, I think the Gothic romance episode could have easily been a TOS episode too...

TNG - "Masks" Who let an 'Original Series' script into TNG? This was a fun episode, one that would have easily fit into the 60s series (or more likely, the animated series). The right mix of cosmic mystery for me in this.

You could make an argument that the delineation is between pitching/fielding (defense) vs batting (offense) anyhow. I dunno, its just me, I was never a fan of the DH.

General staff now is 0830-1715 w/45 min lunch break. The lab that opened at 0730 is closed now, but the staff from there does 0700-1600 or so in other labs, we haven't altered their schedule. I also still come in at 0700 but leave at 1700. On the plus side, I work out during what becomes a 105 min lunch break due to the extra time frame I stay available to my staff.

I kinda haven't ever gotten the DH rule. Either go full football-US and have an offensive/defensive line up (batters don't field, fielders don't bat) or go full football-every-where-else (if you're on offense, you're also on defense). I've never understood the "let's not make the pitcher bat" angle. Why not the catcher, too? Most of them might appreciate being able to spend half an inning relaxing their knees. I get that it ended up being a way to distinguish AL from NL, but I much preferred the game without it. Not really a fan of the shift, but its been used for ~100 years, so it was just part of the game as I saw it. I always thought the 7 inning doulble-header / man on second was a COVID thing. The pitch clock doesn't sound like a good idea from what little I've read on it.

I didn't mind Q. But Star Trek already had The Talosians, The Metrons, Trelaine, Apollo, Dehner and Mitchell, Charlie Evans, the Arretans, the Guardian of Forever, the Excalpians, and V'ger/Ilia-Probe/Decker-whatever off the top of my head, so I was kind of primed for the idea that Stafleet would encounter beings of vast and different power. To me they were a way to personify for sake of the narrative encountering the unknown and potentially unknowable.

We started testing in one of our labs at 0730. I usually don't call any meetings earlier than 1000. But mind you all of my staff start work no later than 0830. The worst I had was when I had an evening job (start at 1700) and worked M-TH & S but every two weeks they wanted me to come in on a Friday at 0900 for a meeting. And since they didn't want to pay me overtime, I had to leave early on one of the other work days to account for the hours spent in the Friday meeting. Thankfully they realized that was a bad idea after a few weeks since it removed the only administrator from the evenings if I wasn't there during my scheduled work hours. lol. So they started having my supervisor brief me on the meetings rather than requiring me to attend. They also get summers off, aren't paid when they grade or plan stuff for their classes at home and receive 9999999999% more grief from parents and politicians than the average person.

I'm in the office at 7.

I'm currently reading the manga. It's pretty nutty. I think so far only one season of the anime was completed and a second series hasn't been announced.
