  1. I don't think they are comparable. Different foci, different games.
  2. That question was rhetorical.
  3. Happy birthday member 666.
  4. I saw V for Vendetta Two things: 1. Portman was crap. Not once, not even once did I consume the suspence of disbelief and forget I was watching actors while she was on screen. There was no escapism on that front. It was like she was only reading lines from paper. Horrible, horrible. 2. The feeling, the anxiety of a revolution was nowhere. I thought the film would leave my butt and mouth sore from just the bristling clear and hypnotic feeling of ideas and thoughts that films of revolution, of clashing with oppression always do. Neeeeernnn! Wrong answer. You are dead, back to square one. There was none of that, just remotely funny long diatribes and akward lines said by actors who didn't really act. Well, it wasn't actually that bad. And okay movie. Could have been great though.
  5. Kill the mutant for me, Nick. ^_^
  6. Aren't both elder Dentons in both Deus Ex's?
  7. Really, there might be an outcry of angst sooner or later on the thread. I think reading 20 pages of discussion over semantics is worth it if I see that burst.
  8. Wasn't Blank one of the Flying Menaces
  9. Thanks for the restart, Gin. Fio told me to do it myself if I was so interested, when I asked for pruning and reopening, but I forgot the whole thing. This subject deserves a discussion and while I have nothing worthwile to add, yet, I find that discussion interesting so far.
  10. There were a whole bunch of references on there. Did you catch the "Maximoff (2)" one? Being Pietro and Wanda, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to the uninitiated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually all the names on the list and all the filenames on the desktop were of mutants and superheroes. From Franklin Richards to, heck, anything.
  11. We told ya, we told ya! Apo is teh greatness. Apocalyptica - Cohkka
  12. It teetered, it tootered, danced on the brink of the edge letting out cries of detest, briefly, and then fell. Like a rather obese swan over marshland...ahem. Anyways, here it goes again. While on the other hand it's rather hypocritical for yours truly to reopen this little wound since he didn't try to redeem the previous installment from it's ailment in any way, still, on the other(the more prominent) hand the show must go on. No matter how barely. Gentlemen, play ball.
  13. I have no experience of neuemettuhl, so I can't really write anything worthwhile. I don't harbor any hate over it though. No reason to. I've hardly listened to it, so I really can't pass judgement. For the record I find rather anal to call any genre crap(except r'n'b, **** I hate that ****), if your experience of it comes mostly from hearing random songs(which often are the obligatory "hit singles" to promote the band) heard from radio. However, I do not find the qualifications "set" by Drabs anything but appealing and have so far tried to stay away from the neuemettuhl.
  14. Hell, I can agree with most of those. For once. Then again, it could just be the shininess that's obscuring the bad stuff.
  15. It's an old pic and is in no way evidence of what similarities I and Bloom might share. *points at Jim and laughs* haw haw haw haaa!
  16. Damn you Jim! Let's all point at Jim and laugh!
  17. And it, arguebly, spawned the first mod communitites to go along with the online following. Another trend there.
  18. Rakish? As in rake? You are down to the ground and sweepish in you actions?
  19. Wait, can't you kill anything in a couple of rounds anyway?
  20. That's because you are anything but suave.
  21. It's because of me, isn't it? I should have done an inspiring start post. :D
  22. Yeah, but...well nevermind. You win this time Rosy Nipples!
  23. A...no wait, C!
  24. I thought Quake made online gaming a standard.
