  1. This is a TOMBS report for metadigital: He is definition.
  2. Highway 17 is my fav level after Anticitizen One and Nova Prospekt.
  3. See, I was purposely trying to get through 'Holm only using ball. I can practically dance through the zombie hordes unscathed and kill everything there with the ball, but there's a point where throwing it ten dozen times just to get one of the throwers dead starts to feel a bit boring. That's why I avoided them. My aim was to have fun. Good luck getting the ball to Ravenholm, the ladders are a bitch to navigate with it. Yeah, and avoid fire. The ball soon explodes if it comes to contact with it. Otherwise it's nigh indestructible and can kill anything with enough forward momentum, thanks to Havok physics. The ball also largely ignores you if there's other beings present, so you can leave it on it's own for a while and it will hunt the enemies. It's like having a partner. The thing also comes back to you after everything else is dead, because it wants to muder you. Of course, without the electric spikes other balls have it can't do much to you. I love the lil' bugger.
  4. Limbonic Art - Interstellar overdrive
  5. Ravenholm was scary the first time. After that I could go through the level armed with only Dog's ball. :D It's set to annihilate anything non-combine and with enough enough time and and momentum gained from rolling down stairs and hills it can kill everything. Headcrabs get rolled over, normal bombies stumble when the ball hits their legs and fast screechy bombies die when the ball hits them to the crab-part. I just avoided killing the throwerbombies, they take so much time and effor to kill. ka-THUD
  6. I ****en love and hate the save point system. On the other hand it keeps the game challenging and gives a healthy dose of fear of death. Both are in great need nowadays. But on the other fairly major ahnd it's damned annoying to try the same part 20 times in a row and die everytime for some stupid reason, like a merc shooting a barrel or you getting hit by a car. Not to mention, with my reflexes miss a mutant=instadeath.
  7. An Ibero-Massilian army led by Armenian warlords just landed on African soil. Also, tried the demos for Lost Planet and Condemned. First one was a bit slow and lack of saving option pretty much killed it for me. Was fun and beatiful though. Second demo was so-so. Although it looked glorious, the fighting was itchy and "visions" rather crappy. I liked the "bang"-part. :D
  8. Vanilla Sky It tried to be real mind****, but meh.

From Tarna's, Jussi? Yeah, it's horrible even in the backwater town I live(Kouvola).
  10. One thing of small note: Lucas has aboslutely zilch to do with LucasArts. What Georgie-boyo mostly does is doing jackcrap on his Skywalker Ranch and plannin wolrd destr...ehmm, destruction of his old movies on the pretense that they are then more true to his "vision". Nowadays he doesnt even check canon anymore, there's a department for that. I rather doubt he even cares about anything else than his dough. Gaahhh
  11. if you are referring to "Demons and Wizards", I agree, it is a hokey name in this day and age...would have been fine in 1970 but not now. it is, however, some of the best progressive power metal out there as it is a "super band" with 2 of biggest guns in the business. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, I was referring to Machinae. Just some idle writing. And you should totally try bands like Angra or projects like Star One if you like progressive. Like, broaden your horizons before calling anything "the biggest". Nope, not patronising you, no offence ment. Dragonforce - Through fire and flames
  12. I should totally get a hobby or something. Here I am waiting a message from someone named Plano Skywalker and listening to a jazzy piece made by someone named Lou Gutman. Goodness gracious me! ^_^ Lou Gutman - Kick in the Face 99
  13. I can't listen to Bathory's Hammerheart(particularly Valhalla and Shores in Flames) without thinking Led Zeppelin anymore. :D Then again, I can't listen to Therion's Sirius B/Lemuria-double without thinking One rode to Asa Bay Machinae Supremacy - Sidology 1: Sid Evolution Nintendo metal?
  14. I love you Eldar. Your posts stink of pleonasm, yet their message doesn't get cluttered in a diatribe.
  15. Shut up mutant or I'll kill you.
  16. Machinae Supremacy - Rise No dingoing clue who these guys are or what's the genre, but dammit this is fun. :D
  17. Well, make an eduxated guess - Immigrant Song Protometal deluxe
  18. See, you angsty internet personas, Gin doesn't have a problem with your interest over crpgs. On the contrary, he just wants to question whether they are really worth his time or should he just be off doing something constructive, like living in the real world. If you get annoyed, offended or feel that it's somehow pointed to you, I think you, and I'm sorry if this comes across as rude, are rather shallow. No offence, but this thread really is about Gins lack of faith, not your navel.
  19. Ah, nothing personal mister Dragos. You just happened to post before me. I wrote for everyone ^_^
