I bought Rome:Total War expansion set. Well, actually the gold edtion, since there seem to be no copies of the expansion anywhere. Only cost me around 30 euros, so no biggie. I*m not really that interested on the actual game, but the greats mods coming out for BI are practically endless. Ran No Jidai, Blue Lotus, Chivalry, EB 0.8, RTR 7.0, etc. Edit: Right, I was thinking of starting a new game in BG 1 and this time actually playing past Cloakwood. I've heard some great things on BG1to2, but I have actually no idea where to get or how to install the damn thing. Not to mention what it is, exactly.

I thought the disarming-maneuver-to-headshot looked pretty badass in Blood Money. Although I have yet to even start the game. It's just lying on my shelf among a dozen other games needing a playthrough.

I can't make a totally awesome Alucard in Bloodlines, so it sucks.

I don't like acidic pukes, otherwise bingeing is ok. Edit: Oh, yeah: Gothic. I'm probably the third worst Gothic fan on this board. Surmising that, I'll have to agree with mkreku on all points. That dirty swedupelle is so right. On counterpoint though, I thought G2 sort of overdid the fantasy side of things. It was too...tolkienish. Here's hoping that G3 remedies that.

Yeah, it's a total conversion for Rome:Total War, called Europa Barbarorum. Very hard, very fun. The original game, what purists call "vanilla"(I just call it RTW), isn't all that difficult. The combat dynamics, like fatigue, morale and height are pretty sensible and anyone can pick the game up. There's also a decent empire building sim there, which the demos don't have, since they are all combat. Well worth looking into if you are a strategy gamer. And, since it's you, Miss Dungeon Keeper, I have no doubt you wouldn't like the Total War games. :D
