Dell has some neat new MP3 players at good prices... I was looking into getting myself one of those. I think the iPod's are overpriced. http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/c...s=19&l=en&s=dhs

I like carpet... but only nice new clean carpet - and not in the bathroom or kitchen - that's just icky. We have mostly tile floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. Anyhow, wow Eldar, I can't beleive you stripped paint from your brick fireplace... you are a trooper. A lot of people paint brick believe it or not. I dont' know why, but they do... As far as the white trim goes you'd better make sure it's "real" wood underneath. My house is fairly new and the mantel, and baseboards are made of some kind of MDF or something, so they are painted white. Can't really get away with stripping and staining that. Fortunate for me I happen to like the white

hmmm Went to highschool with some of the Blink 182 guys, not that they would know who I was. Hung out with a crazy group of people that included Alexis Arquette (David Arquette's bi-sexual brother) - that was actually pretty fun. Got to hang backstage with the Bloodhound Gang way back when... They are hilarious people. Got to set up for, and take down after some huge bands when I was in college. Rob Zombie = cool guy, Korn = arrogant ****. Met Sinbad while working E3 this year. But nothing compares to being friends with some great people like JE and MCA

There's some interesting thoughts regarding tattoos on here. Well, I've got a back peice that took roughly 80 hours and one on my left hip that took about 20 hours. I do see certain tattoos as being fad. But I don't see mine as being fad. To me mine are artwork and a part of me - they'll never go out of style as far as I'm concerned. Hell... I don't really give a rats ass if tattoos go "out of style" - I'll still love mine! :D

lol... those commentators were driving me crazy. Every little freakin' thing "oh.. that's going to cost her 5/10's of a point. Ooo see that wobble? Another 2/10's off for that. Ouch, that's gonna hurt her score". God damn it... why can't you say something nice like "WOW! That was an amazing tumbling pass!" or something... they were depressing me.

This is my favorite event! I think they are all incredibly talented, and the way I see it is that it all comes down to pressure and how well they perform at that moment. Everyone is bound to mess up some time or another. They are all so good at it that the judges have to take off for every tiny little thing otherwise there would be ties... sooooooo... I say yay for US, yay for Romania.... yay for everyone who actually made it to the olympics. I don't really care if we won gold or not... I just care that they were there and did their best!

EW... I have seen those pictures of the camel spiders. Those things are yucky How nasty would that be too to wake up w/out an ear?
-
Yeah, the pest controll place told me about that, so they came back to do follow-up sprays to kill them. Aegeri - Jumping spiders are neat. We have a lot of them at our new house... big fuzzy ones. The only thing that scares me about them is that they move so fast! The worst was one time when I was at my parents house I left the windows in my car open. I was on the freeway later that day and looked over and on my door by the window was this big jumping spider just kinda looking at me. That's the one time I was really afraid of jumping spiders, because even though i know they won't hurt me, I thought it was going to jump on me (which would have been bad while on the freeway). Opus131 - that thing has crazy fangs!

Agreed! I hope it is fake... that picture makes me sad.

I think chiggers are mites... yeah? I could be wrong. I don't mind spiders that are on the ground, but I hate the big orange orchard spiders. I walked into one of those on the way to the bus stop when I was younger and it was on my face!! AUGH! But I too had a pet tarantula. I liked it. But I hate black widows. We just bought a house that happened to be infested with black widows. YUCK. But I think they are gone now thanks to the exterminator!

eww... that sucks

How could I forget Trust! Relationships revolve around it. If you don't trust someone, then you are not going to have a good relationship.

This didn't happen to me, but it is along the same lines. One of my friends in middle school used to have a macaw. She would always walk with it. So one day she was walking down to circle K to get a soda. She was on her way back with a big soda (had a straw in it but no lid) and she took a swig into her mouth, glanced down, and noticed that her bird had pooped in it. BLAH! lol... yuuuuucky. I would rather have the fly.
