Inviting the Sith Lords to tea?
I had the same thing happen to me. Did you miss the cutscene where Visas unmasks Darth N? I love your avatar by the way.

Do You Think Revan Deserved A Second Chance?
[if a drunk driver isn't responsible for his actions, neither is a fallen jedi. From what I've read, once you give in to the darkside you have very little control over your actions, other than having a choice of methods while killing someone. A wise Jedi master once said,"Once you start down the dark path there is no turning back. Only through." He was talking to Ullic Cel Droma. Ullic became a Sith Lord, was even indirectly responsible for detonating a sun and destroying a solar system. He was Exar Kun's co Sith Lord(yep, there were two at the same time). Exar died, but Ullic was redeemed in the end. So Revan's second chance isn't exactly new. You don't hold drunk drivers responsible for their actions? 'I just killed your family but it's okay because I was drunk'. And Ulic (one L) was the apprentice to Exar Kun as he was named the Sith Lord. And wasn't Ulic redeemed in death only?

Why?!?! Why would someone...
All I remember from the 'good old days' of painters is the bastards taking a huge crap in the bsement bathroom with a ton of cigarette butts to boot and getting blamed for it!! Has painting evolved since?

Its that time of the year!
It warmed up from minus thirty on tuesday to minus four yesterday, so I was getting ready for some nice seasonal, welcome to the real winter freezing rain, but instead it started snowing at about midnight and hasn't quit since. And Global warming in my town is good because now we only have winter seven months of the year!!!

Anyone having xbox problems?
My game froze up at least four times that I can remember, and during battles with numerous foes ( defending the base, Malachor V) it slowed down to nearly a halt. And I've only had my Xbox since the summer. And when I fought Nihilus the screen went totally black but I could hear everything in the background.

Coke or Pepsi?
I snapped at a few die hard Oiler fans who suddenly had Flames flags waving from their vehicles. Don't you think the world would be a better place if the Canucks would have bitchslapped the Flames like the two player team ( Iginla, Kippras..the goalie) they are?

Coke or Pepsi?
Once is usually all it takes, Princess. And how can you cheer for the flames. At the start of last years season we made playoff predictions in October. I said Tampa bay all the way, just because it rhymed. Even when Calgary made it to the final I couldn't cheer for them. Speaking of the flames, tonight I'm going to watch a Sr. A league game between our local A's and the Horse Lake Thunder, featuring...wait for it, wait for it...Theo Fleury and Gino Odjick. Remember, old hockey players don't die, they just end touring G.P. Now as for West Ed, it was cool to make road trips to go shopping there in high school, but nowadays every store has the prices jacked up like you wouldn't believe! $200 for a water bong? Crazy!! When the ex was working I headed downtown ( she lived across the legislature) and went mental buying cds at A&B sound. Now that place was the shihizzit!!

Taks is a blues fan!!! Do you have any good stories from the Hull & Oates days? I was excited when Oatey signed with the Oilers last year, only to realize he actually needs a skilled player to set up. It was painful watching his beautiful passwork go to someone who doesn't even belong on a line with him. And how did the blues tamper with Scott Stevens drafting? I've read about it but there is no explanation as to what happened.

Its that time of the year!
Most of the snow was gone by Christmas but sure enough by the 27th it was a frozen wasteland up here again. And January and February are about the coldest months of the year with temperatures from minus 20 to 45 . it sucks having to go outside to smoke in that.

Crisp sandwiches?
So toinght at work if a jar of marmite 'accidentally' hits the floor and the cap falls off it wouldn't be a good idea to stick my finger in there and take a mouthful? Would this be better suited to delegate to one of my subordinates?

Mira vs. Bao-Dur
Mira was okay, but Bao Dur seemed to spend a lot more time in my party. I tried tossing grenades through her wrist launcher and it was quite funny, especially on moving targets. Both made decent Jedi but it seemed to me like Bao Dur was a little more combat friendly. I was light side and I remember one scene where Mira hadn't been a jedi for more than a day and she was already defending the light side like her life depended on it. It was more interesting than Bao Durs' "never mind" comments. I say screw em both and take Handmaiden and Visas at the same time.

My Wife Made Me Watch It
I don't know, I've seen some pretty crappy movies and I've never wanted to throw my popcorn at the screen as much as I did after I watched that flick ( and I saw the Avengers!!). I wouldn't call that so much as a twist as a very poorly executed bend. Hippie movies don't carry over well in the new millenium

Crisp sandwiches?
I was in Scotland a few years back and seem to remember blood pudding too but it might have been sausage. It was icky. BTW I work in a grocery store and now after fifteen plus years I finally know what the marmite in aisle five is for!! Why does it come in such a tiny jar? Do you scoop it out with toothpicks?

Etymology
Well, this isn't really a Star Wars forum..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fair enough. Ulic Qel Droma was a brash young Jedi who tried unsuccessfully to learn the power of the dark side in an attempt to destroy the Sith. He became the student of Dark Lord Exar Kun, did some bad stuff like slaying his brother before he was cut off from the force.

Things that made me go "Hunh?"
In "the Sith War" comic, Nomi Sunrider cuts Ulic Qel Droma off from the force after he killed his brother. It's a light side techinque used to take power away from an opponent as opposed to hurting them. I think cutting yourself off is new, I guess

Etymology
My friends call me kor, which is shortened from my painful name of Corey. And well, the Qel Droma thing doesn't need an explanation in a SW forum, does it? I pilfered my avatar from a Johnny Cash website since someone was already using the Exar Kun one. And OSW, I think George is the best thing on that show.

Coke or Pepsi?
Where in Alberta do you live? I grew up in Edmonton. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I live in Grande Prairie. It's the same size as Sunnydale, but minus the vampires , lesbian witches, and fun. My last girlfriend was transferred to Edmonton, so I made a road trip every other weekend. And it's pretty much the place to go to see live music. I saw Pearl Jam back in 92' on the ten tour, and I think the last I was there was to see Weezer a couple of years back. Let's not write about hockey since I am total withdrawl and am missing my center ice package on bell expressvu more than you can know. But the best Oiler was always Dave Lumley ( please don't take that seriously)

Alexander the Movie (spoilers)
Is it true Rosario Dawson goes butt nekkid in Alexander? I watched Troy at home a couple of months ago, thanks to the internet, but the dialouge track was off a little bit. I turned on the subtitles, and they were like cliffnotes that someone made. When Achilles' cousin dies and he starts wailing, it just said 'sh*t' at the bottom of the screen.

favorite music
I guess I should not be so cruel. I haven't seen them live, but I really can't stand 'these eyes' . I used to detest Pete Yorns 'life on a chain' until I heard him play it live, and now he's one of my favorite artists. The guess who just bring up bad memories of being stuck watching anne murray christmas specials (tonight, anne welcomes elvis stojko, the guess who, and zappacosta) and wishing I was old enough to change the channel and not get yelled at.
