  1. So Pittsburgh wins the lottery. Good for them, they need all the help they can get.At least TO didn't get it...
  2. I am a fan of the colour green. Not light green, but more of the darker shades. Money is green, so is my car, and green is the colour of weed...
  3. I whistled 'girls just want to have fun' by Cyndi Lauper for an hour at work today until the manager told me to zip it. Even though I'm not a girl and I really wasn't having much fun... Currently I am ripping Teenager of The Year to my harddrive, with London Calling by the Clash to follow.
  4. Personally I think Datsyuk is the guy to make Detroit fans say 'Sergei who?'. I'm not totally convinced that Zetterburg is as good as everyone says. My opinion is his output depends on his linemates. My player to watch this year is going to be Tuomo Ruutu from Chicago... And I love the Moose and want to him to return. But I can't see him making more than two mil in the new NHL economic world.
  5. In Canada we have a network called Showcase. They play kind of risky stuff, and weekends are devoted to foreign T&A films and the Trailer Park Boys. Last night they played 'Little Britain', and I recognized it from some of Kaftans' posts. Is this show done or is it coming back next seson?
  6. Why does a thread have to be closed just because the word bukkake shows up? Actually I think points Ender made are valid. But STB brings up Obsidian protecting themselves, which seems like a smart idea. And the Big Green I guess is pretty much like the parent around here telling his children when he feels they get out of hand.
  7. Earlier tonight I had an odd addiction to Hall & Oates. Now I'm listening to 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' by Bonnie Tyler sandwiched between Bloc Partys' great song 'Banquet' and 'I Will Survive' by Cake.
  8. Sorry this took so long, but up in Canada we have a station called Showcase and every Wednesday they air a British comedy called Little Britain which I found so hilarious I had to watch it at 8 and then the repeat at 11.
  9. I think the poster is Eddo on crack...
  10. And he'll shove you up against a wall if you're dogging it on the ice.
  11. September seems like a lifetime away...
  12. Does anybody here know how far behind Gordie Howe is Messier on the all time points list?
  13. Alright!! A flame war from the flamers!!! Flame on!!!
  14. I just finished my Canderous pic. I tried to stay away from my usual lines out the yin yang and try something different. This was brought to you by the three C's: cigarettes (smoked em) coca cola (drank it) chicago cubs (soaked in yet another victory) sorry for the rambling, but its late. I've been up since four this morning and maybe I'm a little wired...
  15. Wow, nothing slips by you Jodo. Nothing...
  16. I think at this stage of his career a year off might have done Messier some good. All those little nagging injuries that slowed him up in the past should be gone. I'm not a huge Rangers fan, but I've seen a fair share of their games the past two seasons, he still drives to the net hard, which in todays NHL ( or maybe not now, who knows?) usually equates into points.
  17. You should edit that pic before Jodo and Baley see it...
  18. Did you look like yourself or did you appear as your own avatar? Cos that would be trippy.
  19. Alex Chilton is the name of the song (although he is an unsuccessful artist in his own right) , the name of the band is the Replacements. If that doesn't pan out try Sister Havana by Urge Overkill , Marijuana Mother****er by D.O.A. or you could go old school and add Israels Son by Silverchair.
  20. Alex Chilton- the replacements, or maybe Anyuerism by Nirvana...
  21. thats it, I'm convinced you are the devil but I did have a lot of fun on my 420th post...
  22. Well yes actually, Debaser is on my pc and FF is on my MP3 player. I only have one half of my headphones on.
  23. I'm listening to Jacqueline by Franz Ferdinand and Debaser by the Pixies
  24. What do you think Alanschu, maybe move him to second line centre between Isbister and Hemsky? Or do you put him on the top line with Smyth and York?
  25. You really like those Leafs, don't you Mkreku? I mean let the Moose be loose. He is still in great shape. And his leadership skills could take a decent team and make it good. And although Montreal would seem like a decent fit, I remember Doug Gilmour had a hard time getting the ice time he needed when he played there. But he did get more than he did in Buffalo, so who knows...
