What music are you listening to right now?
Most of them are easy, granted, but to get the right sound you have to tune your guitar down half a step. For hacks like me, thats just too much. Aneurysm actually sounds like Aneurysm at a normal tuning...

What music are you listening to right now?
I actually stayed away from Nirvana when they broke. I thought SLTS was okay, but CAYA didn't do diddly for me. But then I heard Lithium. Things changed. Suddenly all the prep kids were wearing flannel. A near perfect pop song sung by an agnst ridden Kobain sold me for life. My favorite Nirvana song is hard to pick. I like Aneurysm because I can play it on my guitar. But 'Verse Chorus Verse' from the No Alternative cd is just about tops. But then there is 'Lounge Act" from Nevermind... Here is a pic of the pixies with weezer from weezers make beleive tour, I thought you might like it the pixies rock...

I thought In Utero was a classic from the moment I heard the opening verse to 'Serve the Servants'...

Tekken Five
My life in Tekken has been centered around counter attacks. I can remember a four round, no time limit two player match with the final score being 71 to 69. I wish Anna had half as many moves as Nina did. I wish my PS2 worked right now...

I can't beleive I forgot that one! The dad from Dawsons' Creek in a rubber suit that nobody could run in. Now that I think about it he didn't really run around that much...

Tekken Five
I used to jones hard for Tekken Bowling... And I racked up a remarkable ( for me) 19 wins in survival mode with Paul Pheonix.

NHL is back
Whats interesting to note is apparantley some of the fine print in this new contract could really change the way teams deal with their players. Now from what I've seen under the new system if a player decides to hold out for more money they don't get to play that year.

And speaking of the moose, any chance he'll come back this year?

Thats too bad, he seemed to bring out the best of the Sedins for a little while. Any ideas if Magnus Arvedson is still signed?

The official late 80's eary 90's TV series thread
Wow, it looks like all the basics have been covered now (Automan, My Secret Identity). But some of my favorites were V, and I can barely remember a show called Square Pegs that had Sarah Jessica Parker as the lead although I can't remember her in the show. All I can think of is one episode where Devo made a guest appearance...

How did King do in the minors? Any ideas how he did this season? The only hockey I've watched in the last 300 days is my local junior team.

NHL is back
He and Jason Smith were downright nasty that one year, weren't they? Then they made it to the playoffs and Igor became the sacrificial goat for his dismal play. Personally I'm quite excited about Edmontons' blueline this year. The only person who isn't resigned is Eric Brewer, I think. He's overrated anyway, and should have more points for a guy who takes up so much ice time.

NHL is back
I think if Bertuzzi wants out his contract won't stop him ( Pavel Bure, anyone?). And thanks to the new NHL economics , his 7 mil deal is only 5 and a quarter or a half now.

read this its a nice story
I actually think he is a ST nerd who was beaten up by SW fans and this is how he gets his revenge... Or he just likes messing with the heads of 14, no 18, no 24 year olds.

NHL is back
Thats not true. He had three good games in a row once with Oilers before his confidence went in the toilet again. Too bad, he was really good for a while...

Boo on yoo Ender! The only hockey jersey I will ever wear is my 1970s Yellow V Canucks home jersey. If Naslund decides to leave Vancouver you know Bert will be two steps behind him. Actually what I heard on teevee today is that Naslunds coming back is supposed to keep Bertuzzi in town.

EnderWiggin Posted Today, 12:49 AM The Avs will probably return sans Forsberg and Sakic, which really sucks. Do even have a goalie or is it still that same kid from last year? I'll miss joltin Joe but Peter Forsberg (while a great player, no doubt) was a nosebleed away from retiring anyway. Who knows, maybe Vincent Damphosse will be able to keep up with Tanguay and Hejduk on the top line? And Calgary might make it to the finals again too...

NHL is back
It's not bad or anything, Ender, its just that I see it and I go 'Baleys posting again'. And he did change his a while ago so its more my problem than yours . My bad. Anyhoo I can't understand why the Rangers will be getting three chances at the top pick in the lottery draw? Isn't that just rewarding ineptitude? If there is a God the Leafs will trade Sundin and the rest of the team will be exposed for the second rate players they are with barely any new talent coming up.

NHL is back
I hope this doesn't wreck my NHL centre ice programming on Bell. BTW Ender your new avatar reminds me of Baley for some strange reason... And I think that a deal is being signed now because the players realize how much hockey will be hurting as a result of this dispute. As far as signing a deal for less money, it looks like some of the things that the NHLPA did accomplish by holding out ( UFA dropping to the mid to late 20s from 31, new arbitration rights) , will be at a pretty hefty cost if nobody shows up for the games in the states and then nobody will be making any coin. Hey how much revenue do you share when the pot is zero?

NHL is back
I guess I'll wait until next week when this deal is ratified before I go jumping through any hoops proclaiming hockey is back. If this deal goes through, there is going to be a lot of changes before the season even starts. This year its my turn to organize our hockey pool at work. With the bulk of the top scorers from the last season they played being all free agents, it's going to be a total pain in the ass. I would not want to be a GM for the next three months...
