I think my problem with these films is that although every person you've mentioned has brought something different to these roles, not one of them looks like they could escape from a wet paper bag. Acting wise I thought Keaton was the best, but shouldn't the Batman be a little bit more physically imposing? Maybe Bale will be the ultimate Batman, since he's actually seen the inside of a weight room...

I went to the matinee to see EP3 again yesterday (5bux, 5bux, 5bux) and for some reason I can't help laughing my ass off during the opening scene when Obi & Ani are about to fly into Grevious' ship and Obi-Wan is like' Did you notice the sheild generators are still up!?!'. I know a lot of people don't care for Ewan MacGregor in these films, but I really like his take on Kenobi.

i just wish that they would stop making his costume all black and put some bloody grey in it. I guess its finally sinking in that they will never make a Batman outfit that isn't some sort of body armor...

I would suggest renting EA(ugh!) sports fight night round two. It's a very good boxing game, and the game cube version also has the original punch out game on the disc as well...

I still think that Christian Bale will do a better job than Val Kilmer or George Clooney. I've been waiting for this show, but the bar of my expectation level has been set pretty low with most of the Batman movies being hellalame.

try using stealth and don't engange the enemy unless you have to. Let the jeedai mop the floor with those dudes. If you do get in a scrap, keep your distance and take advantage of Mira's Rocket Launcher. It can fire grenades as well...

I just came home from the show and I thought it was really enjoyable. The theatre was packed and it was hot as hell. I had a nice seat at the back with my buddy so I wouldn't have to put up with some **** kicking my seat. I thought the little tarzan yell was funny with the wookies. The only problem that I had was that it wasn't graphic enough. There was too much implied carnage. I guess I would have preferred to see Kit Fisto's head cut off. But Anakin ( who did a much better job than ep2, IMHO) going all extra crispy at the end was good. I didn't use my 'you bastard anakin line' since it didn't really show him gutting the younglings but a few people laughed at the classic George Costanza ' thats gotta hurt' when AS loses his remaining limbs. I'd give the show a strong seven out of ten. With Esb being a 9 and Anh being an 8. At least he tied all his loose ends up without dragging the film into complete boringness... And Palpatine was definately the star of the show. Creepy bastard...

Even though this thread has been dead for two weeks, I would like to say I really enjoyed last nights episode. It might have been leftover endorphins from the Smallville finale, but Lost seemed interesting. One more to go...

Actually the show has been on for about two months on CBC, Oerwinde. It's hard to notice anything on CBC without hockey... And about the SW series, I'm very frightened that GL is going to subject us to an hour long sitcom of Jimmy Smitts raising little Leia...
