try as I might, I couldn't finish peragus in less than four hours...

What you might want to try for the final battle is casting force breach , then load up with every stim you can. After that cast master speed if you have and switch your attacks. The final boss was pretty much resistant to my force powers so I had to rely on melee attacks...

I agree with Cloris. It's not KOTOR. So don't expect it to be. It's more of a side scrolling LOTR game with better graphics. I was frustrated that I couldn't really do what I wanted to in this game, but I do realize it's not a RPG. Wal-Mart does suck, and to tell you the truth I went to future shop every day since the fifth hoping they would have it, but they still don't have their **** together enough to have it on the shelves.

Peragus was good for getting the hang of the game if you had not played the first one. But it should have been much shorter. You can only get in so many fights with a plasma torch before it becomes boring...

I usually keep Kriea around and try to rotate around the rest of the characters for the first part of the game. I guess my favorites would be Bao-Dur and Visas, for you don't have to worry about holding back levels with her until you can turn her. Melee wise Handmaiden was good, but arming Madalore with a pair of Gammorean cleavers was very effective .
