  1. Good old Dan. You can always count on him to suprise you but not be there when you need him the most. I think I'll have nightmares about that Chelios goal.
  2. How could Winn not know that was Dukat? Man what a ditz. And Roms' kid screaming his ass off when he lost his leg was kind of neat too.
  3. Sorry Deraldin, but I wouldn't dare derail our on topic fun with work crap. Aw snap the revenge of Dan Cleary!!! He's a newfie, you know. I just wish I didn't have to listen to Kelly Hrudey. Can anyone stop the Stars right now? Losing Bill Guerin has been a blessing!
  4. Two words. Brian Boucher. Yes, that guy who had that streak a while ago. It's actually only 9:48 here, but when you have to get up around fourish...
  5. I'll have to agree with you on that, Numbers. The only thing I didn't like about DS9s' final run was all the time spent with Dukat and that Bajoran Priestess skank. Aside from that I'd say DS9 then the rest are about the same.
  6. So Jagr scored what, four points tonight? This guy is going to make me a killing in my hockey pool. At least there were some positives for you tonight, Mkreku. Montreal was upset by the 'Burgh (hey another four points!), and Atlanta woke up the sleeping Flyers. But at the same time you look at the night that rookie Brad Boyes had for the Bruins tonight and wonder why both the Leafs and the Sharks thought he wasn't good enough to play. As for the Flames, nah, I'll just keep my mouth shut. It's tied at one in the middle of the second for the Oil/Detroit tilt . If Edmonton gets a point I'll be happy. If they win I won't feel so bad for staying up late to watch the game when I have an early work day tommorow. Edit: Big goal from SAH dman Steve Staios. And Samsonov on the powerplay is a bloody treat to watch!!! 2nd edit: Damn you old paint Chris Chelios... <_< if you see the replay please don't laugh.
  7. This is not a report, but I'd like to give +10 points to Jules for giving me my wickedness in pixilated form new signature picture.
  8. Here is some lovely quotes courtesy of TSN
  9. The Fettmeister is right. Now Grey Zealot is going to start a whole whack of threads in WOT to 'prove' his point. Just give it a rest already. We went through this a few days ago in general discussion.
  10. I was lying on the couch with my arms stretched up in the air when that goal went in. It seemed odd for Kipper to let two shaky goals go by him, but I won't bitch about it. Next up, a visit from the Wings. All I can say is hopefully Jason Smith can knock down Pavel Datsyuk as well as he checked Iginla last night. On an unrelated note, my town is hosting the womens world curling championships. I saw the swedish ladies team at work today. The two younger members were very hawt.
  11. Samsonov+Horcoff+broken stick+open ice=two more points for the Oil. I see what you were saying about the playmaking of our newest member,Alan. He dangles like Hemsky and doesn't cough up the puck. If the playoffs started tomorrow it would be a first round BOA. How long has it been since that happened?
  12. I'm eleven players away from being in the money in my poker tourney. Bad thing is, I only have 4000 chips and the blinds are 1200
  13. I had watched the show sporadically for the first few seasons but was kinda bored by the time the whole cro-mag thing was going on.
  14. Has the guy who played Rembrandt done anything since?
  15. How could I forget? Law for the win!!
  16. I was playing NHL 2002 and a fair bit of GTA3.
  17. of course!!!
  18. Pixies is right, a wallet doesn't really scream 'I love you' all over the place, does it? *leaves out story about getting wallet from former girlfriend*
  19. Home ec with Yoda. No, I mean Guardian.
  20. I vote 'C'!!!. No wait, 'D'!!!...
  21. Allright, obviously I can see I'm wrong here, so thanks for clearing that up Alan. Tonight I'll be doing something different and cheer for the Red Wings over Anaheim. BTW what was all the hubbub in the Coyotes/Kings game last night? From the highlights it looks like there was a whole lot of anger going on in the rink. Did anyone actually see that game?
  22. Bound for the floor / Local H
  23. Quiet, you, you're just on a high from your Leafs stealing a victory over the Bruins last night. I'm not expecting Samsonov to come in and plop down thirty points in his last twenty games or anything like that. But from what I saw last night, granted I was half asleep, the guy was barely on the ice. He played ten minutes five on five and only another two on the PP. If you're bringing a guy in to supply offence wouldn't it be prudent to play him? Our rookie d-man Matt Greene nearly had more ice time than Sergei did last night. This is the stat page I was referring to.
  24. I wasn't speaking strictly points, Alan. If you check out the super stat sheets at the NHL website you'll notice he didn't even register a shot on goal last night. In fact, aside from his ice time Samsonov had no measurable stats in any category, which was what I was referring to.
  25. Believe it or not, I actually fell asleep on the couch during the second period . I just woke up a few minutes ago and my first waking thought was " What was the score?". Color me relieved. Now its another BOA coming up on thursday. Big points up for grabs at a critical time. It looks to me from the stats sheets Samsononv did a good job of turning invisible tonight, hopefully that's not a sign of things to come. That ties Edmonton for seventh in the west with the horribly slumping Canucks. I still see them making the playoffs, however, but can agree with Hurly in saying that the Kings will need a miracle to stay in the race. Way to go Marty Reasoner!!! Playing with Glen Murray has got to be a lot of fun.
