No we won't! It warmed up a fair bit for Christmas yesterday, but today the temperature dropped a few degrees and the snow starting blowing again. I worked today for triple time. Took my lunch and bought myself a new golf club with a gift card I received for Christmas. Now, the missus is making supper while I take a break from the paperwork I brought home. Married life is good. Real good.

I'm just getting home from a Christmas Eve party at the inlaws. It's been a pretty hectic week. Working in retail can be quite exhausting. And then I had a bout of the stomach flu that I'm just getting over in time for x-mas dinner tomorrow. And to top it off I exchanged vows on Wednesday. I could really use a month off just to recover, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I don't see why, nobody messes with the guy from Die Hard. And wasn't Lemaire the coach last year?

I picked up my suit from the tailors today after work. I'm getting married on Wednesday!

Those two things could be closely related.

Yeah, Tampa was pretty choked about that goal after the game. Me personally, I'm just happy the Oilers pulled off a win after being doubled in shots by the Lightning. I still bet Omark either gets sent down again, or becomes a healthy scratch due to shoddy defensive play. But offensively, the kids an ace!

It seems a shame that Burns wasn't nominated for the HHOF while he was still alive. Cancer sucks.

They are on par with the suckage of the Oilers. I don't have much to say after the 8-2 drubbing at the hands of the Rangers.

I bought a house this week. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but there's little work to be done to it, as opposed to the less expensive places we had been looking at. It's nice. I look forward to taking possession of it in a month or two. And going back to weekly mortgage payments. Those are so much fun I don`t know how to put it into words.

I've been house shopping the past few weeks. It's been an interesting experience. In all I've probably checked out more than a dozen houses. Today, I viewed what seems to be a keeper. Now I just have to figure out how to afford it.

Up before six to get ready for work, then immediately after my nine and a half hours of servitude were up it was off to the fiancee's place for a birthday supper with her family and mine. They wanted to wait until tomorrow, but I have to work late. My future mother in law makes the bestest homemade carrot cake. Nom Nom. Tomorrow is going to be a real hootenanny as well. I get to sleep in (thank jebus), then my first task of the day is to go see a mortgage broker.

I have been enjoying some moderately warm temperatures here to get some late season golfing rounds in. I bought myself some newer clubs, and still haven't quite adjusted to them yet. And today while I was on the links my realtor phoned to let me know the sale of my condo went through. And only for a few grand off of my asking price. It should be either later this week or early next before I go to the lawyers to sign the papers. It will represent the most money I've had in my bank acco

I started out the season dead last in my work hockey pool. That's never happened in the near decade or so I've been entered. The Oilers looked pretty good on opening night. And not so **** hot against Florida in their second game. Its been so long since Khabibulin played for them that I've forgotten what its like for a goalie to steal a win for the team.

After nearly ten weeks of bull****, money, sweat and bloody fingers, my condo is finally renovated! I meet with a realtor tomorrow morning. With any luck the weather will clear up and I'll be able to golf in the afternoon.

Golf has been a fun hobby for me this summer. I suck miserably, but I'm getting better. This shot was on the first par three hole of my favorite local golf course. I flubbed my tee shot, and managed to hit the pin and roll out along the edge of the cup with my second shot.

Looking through the old thread, I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw Oerwindes' pirate avatar for Jags. Good times, good times. I'm old, fat, and balding. No pics from me, I'm afraid.

The Expendables. Greenlight the sequel already, because that was pretty ****ing awesome. There was nothing new, nor original about it, but it seemed to play out perfectly. And it never hurts to see Charisma Carpenter again.

Watched the finale of Season 2 of Fringe yesterday. Goddamn what a great series. I'm glad season three starts in a few weeks. I want to see more of Walternate. Also going to check out a few episodes of Rubicon tonight. Hopefully its good as well. And I saw The Other Guys a week or so ago, too. I liked it, but it was far too long for a comedy.

I managed to turn in a decent performance on the golf course yesterday. My weekly round with the future-father-in-law turned into a quartet with two of his buddies tagging along. Over the course of 18 holes I shot a personal best. And looking at my scores from the beginning of the year, I've taken nearly 40 strokes off. Golf is my new favorite hobby. At least for another month, until it starts snowing.

Then you realize just how long you've been on these forums (~2000 days) and suddenly your post count doesn't seem so high anymore. Remember when the forums used to tell us which section you were most active in? All us cool kids were only active in WOT. That pissed me off a fair bit when they took that away. I'm pretty sure that Kaftan was the king of WOT.

I saw that online today as well. It was good, but nothing that special. That complete series boxset looks pretty spiffy, though.
