What you did today
I started work at 4am today for monthly inventory. I was greeted at the door by our night crews lead man, who was decked out in a padded bra and skirt. I think Im going to fail sensitivity training.

With the new book coming out, a few people on another forum have been talking about which characters get POV chapters this time around. They all seem to be hoping for some dude named Quentin. I honestly have no clue who that is.

I just finished A Feast For Crows last night. Now I need to re read it, because I am mighty confused.

He might be able to win more than 50% of his face-offs.

Souray was, for lack of better terms, injury prone and somewhat of a dressing room cancer, according to reports. At the end of the season before last, he publicly asked to be traded , as well as blasting management for 'pressuring him to play injured'. As for my cancer remark, he was not the only culprit. We had a captain a few seasons ago that for all intents and purposes split the dressing room. If you were young and skilled, chances are he would lay the blame of one of the numerous losses the Oilers suffered on their feet. Souray, while he wouldn't make the same statements to the press, basically did the same thing in the dressing room. When he wasn't on the IR, that is. It's too bad, really. His second season with the team he was very productive, and was the closest thing to a number one defenseman Edmonton had since the Prongergate situation. After that, he got injured early in the year, came back, fought the guy who put him out, broke his hand, and was done for the season. He spent the last season in the AHL, collecting a 5.4 million dollar salary while getting 4 goals and 16 assists, or something like that. I hope edmonton trades him for chris Drury, although I doubt Drury would play for the Oilers.

Edmonton will give you Sheldon Souray for a carton of smokes and a used jockstrap.

I know Edmonton and Calgary had their share of mischief during their run to the finals, but can anyone remember if Ottawa had the same reaction? Hopefully most of the idiots involved will be caught and charged.

Kudos to Boston. I wonder what the damage will be from the riot in Vancouver tonight? Luongo may be the popular scapegoat for a while, but there's a bunch of forwards on that Canucks team that didn't bring it to this series. And 0 goals from the back end as well.

You've got to hand it to the bruins. They've shut down the highest scoring line in the league for seven games.

Wow, what a great drive to the net by Recchi.

Well, it's time to prove your worth, Vancouver.

There's still a few seats available for tonight's game. 1200 for nosebleeds, 12000 for first row. After watching a few games of the final, I can honestly say I'm pretty meh about who wins. Would it be nice to see the Canucks win? Sure, but most of the Vancouver fans where I live are pretty smug, and I couldn't see a Cup helping things. Bring on the draft!!

We can play street hockey in my driveway, but if any of you put a ball through my windows the gloves will come off!

Craig Simpson is horrible as a commentator. I would have watched the American feed, but I don't get that channel in HD.

Yeah, I'd say this series is going to seven games.

I don't mind that it's not following continuity. The comics themselves reboot whenever they feel like it, why can't the movies?

What you did today
I was up early for a round of gf this morning. I'm hitting the ball a lot better this year, finally. My scores haven't dropped that much...yet. I'm going to take lessons this summer, I think.

Sorry if my post wasn't original enough for you, Calax. I guess I'll try harder next time. That being said, I loved the movie. It has it's flaws, sure. I'd like it if they continued on with this series and forgot the previous x-men titles. Just as long as there's no wolverine. I hate that guy.

Movies you've seen recently
I just came back from First Class. Seeing my favorite mutant Banshee on the big screen was pretty damn cool, even of they totally abandoned his wicked awesome accent. All in all I thought it was mostly excellent, probably because there's no Wolverine. My only gripe was with the female casting. Aside from Moira (again, it was weird without her accent) I really didn't care for any of their performances. January jones is smokin' hawt, don't get me wrong, but as someone seeing her onscreen for the first time I would have to say she couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag. The girl Charles hit on in the bar had more range than her.

I used to really despise the Canucks when they had agitators like Matt Cooke and jaarko ruutu. Borrows is a class above.

I wonder what the new team will be be named. Maybe a mix of all three teams. How about the Flashets?

Was it really 20 years in Atlanta? Let's hope Winnepeg thrives this time around.

I'm a little unhappy with how Tampa lost yesterday. But I'll give credit where it's due to Boston and their defense. Canucks in six, hopefully.

One of my favorite ex-oilers hung up his skates today. Doug Weight was the best center the team had since the dynasty days. I have two favorite memories from his time in Edmonton. One was him going ape**** on Bryan marchment after Marchment stuck a knee out, and the other was a beautiful end to end rush that I'm too lazy to find on YouTube.
