New coach for Krookies team next year...again. And it sucks for me that Buffalo is out. 'Let's go Buffalo' is one of my favorite battle cries. There isn't really a team in the east that has a catchy phrase like that. 'Beat those chaps, Caps' just isn't the same.

I'm kind of sad to see LA get eliminated. I'll root for the Canucks, sure, but there's something about the Kings that makes me want them to carry on further in the playoffs. Maybe it's because there's a few ex-Oilers on the squad. And I hope that the Wings / Yotes game is an early one. LOST is on tuesdays!!

I can attest that counselling helps. I'd be pretty ****ed right now if I hadn't made the decision to see someone a few months ago. Sure, it can be expensive to pay for it on your own, but the rewards far outweigh the cost, in my experience.

Now Souray wants a trade. More bad news for Oilers fans. Granted, of the three years Souray has been here he's only been healthy for one, but reading that article makes me wonder. Although that cannon shot will be missed, I've liked how well Tom Gilbert and Ryan Whitney have played together since the trade deadline.

That was impressive. I'm still shocked that Sedin will win the scoring race this season. It's the last day of our hockey pool. I had a strong day yesterday ( god bless you, Thomas Vanek!) and sit a mere one point behind the leader. I have less skaters playing than he does, but it's always fun to hope for a miracle.

I found Antichrist to be quite dull, although that bit at the end was quite disgusting. I saw Hot Tub Time Machine earlier in the week. There were some decent laughs, if you are old enough to have lived through the '80's. Its not a great movie by any means, but you could probably do worse.
