2006 FIFA World Cup
Ah. I see. I guess I-ties makes sense in that regard. This Materazzi really does look like a dirty player, although I don't think it's good form to headbut the guy. The difference is that apparently this Zizou character doesn't normally play dirty while Materazzi does. EDIT: But still try to keep your cool. I swear, if this weren't the internet, we'd already have a brawl on our hands.

2006 FIFA World Cup
Okay, could you guys cut out the slurs. Dammit. I mean, being an anglophile, I wanted England to win if the US couldn't. Still, we're getting to be pretty bad with the "scumbags" "Mafia" "I-ties" and other such non-sense. Yes, this Materazzi looks like a damned dirty player, but let's keep the comments centered on the individuals rather than the entire nation.

TOMBS vol. 6
It's dying because the only person doing any of the work is Mothman. He just can't keep up with the workload.

Hitman: Blood Money
I just pistol whack the escort into submission. if you grab them with the pistol and then knock them out before they see your face, it doesn't count as a witness. In fact, I did this to at least one person in every mission. BTW: Yay, I managed to get SA in Murder of Crows. Woo Hoo! That and that Mississippi mission were the biggest pains.

Syd Barrett is dead
The ship has sailed on your madness, Kaftan. As for your post, it's just a well written reflection on the topic at hand. Maybe that's why it doesn't sound like you. hahahahaha :Eldar's poking good natured fun at Kaftan icon: One good side effect of reading your post: I'm now listening to Wish You Were Here.

Hitman: Blood Money
He also had no qualms about shooting a delivery-man. Think of the moment when the only person who might be considered his friend says she doesn't think she'll live much longer. He says that's too bad and immediately asks if his fee has been transferred. I liked the story. 47 is an intriguing character, but he is completely amoral.

Prey Review
Hmm, maybe I should look into it. Have you actually played it yourself, angs?

Hitman: Blood Money
If you play the game to the bitter end, it's not only the villains who get the ax.

Hitman: Blood Money
Oh, I agree, Colrom. He's bad through and through. He's completely amoral. That's why I said that, underneath the gritty setting, this game brings ugly to a new level. Take from that what you will. ...But this is not a nice game. It's a great game, but it's not a nice game. There's no moment of discovery where you find the gentler side of 47. When he puts a bullet in the head of his mark, that is his gentle side. His hard side? Well, if you can't stomach his gentle side, you simply must not play this game. I don't say that with any rancor or irony. This game is not for everyone. For you, Colrom, whom I know to possess a rather gentle and good spirit, I would not suggest this game. It is both ugly and beautiful. It is the closest thing to a computer game become art in a long time.

Hitman: Blood Money
Ah, I got the Russian Hare. I don't know how I got it, other than I killed everyone on the New Life mission, the vast majority with the sniper rifle. I killed every single one of them with a head shot. One damned exception! Who was it? Some swine-hearted wretch standing behind one of my head shots. So, I actually shot 30 times and got 31 shot kills. Damn it. Now I have to do it over again and see if I get something special for head shots. EDIT: BTW: I was compared to the legendary 47. Kewl!

My Lord, that made my day! Comedy, Bok. Total comedy!

Hitman: Blood Money
Ah, I was just ribbing you anyhow, my fellow Californians. :Eldar's poking fun at Bok and Hurl icon: I redid the bayou wedding mission again and I get such a kick out of the fact that I can make a mistake and run through the whole mission pell mell only to find out that I've made Silent Assassin. Nothing like trying to hide, having one of your marks find you, pulling out the silenced silver baller, shooting him in the head, and then escaping before anyone finds the body!

Hitman: Blood Money
I don't know, but I'm starting to think that time plays a factor in these missions.

Hitman: Blood Money
I've not, as yet, had the game crash. Of course, my system kicks sand in the face of your xbox.

Hitman: Blood Money
Ah, come on, Lucius, you can rate better than Skip. I've seen your picture. I don't find any of the targets on that ship appealing. In fact, the only looker I can recall from any of the missions is the girl at the wedding. If she didn't look so trashy, I suppose the "angel" at the heaven/hell party would be pretty. She is, however, hot. For a cartoon.

1776, however, was a great film. Even for an anglophile like me.- Poetry thread

Actually, I can name a few myself, but I won't. I mean, Hasselhoff always seems a bit innocuous. Some of them, however...- Poetry thread
I want an upbeat poem, you latter day beatniks! How about: Ode to a glass of passion tea mixed with juice: I love my passion tea mixed with juice It's a damn without a sluice Intead the water there flows irate and my thirst does thus abate- Pearl Harbor Zero Hour Help!
Tom Foolery. An alt is an alternate account. If someone primarily posts as one member and occasionally posts under a different name, that name is an alt. Now that the answer is here, the thread is closed. CLOSED!- Pearl Harbor Zero Hour Help!
Okay, guys, whether he's an alt or not, let's stick to his question. Of course, I don't understand it so someone else will have to answer. I tend to think that Nartwak must have the right of it considering his post.- Movies You Have Seen Lately
Bring a pillow.- Hitman: Blood Money
If self esteem and pride were that important, what's to stop me from lying! Seriously, don't you guys try to get high scores when you play? I don't fixate on it, and I don't fixate on bragging rights, but I do enjoy trying to do as well as possible when I play a game. Plus, I really love this game. It's well worth the WASD effort, Gromnir. You don't have to play 1st person.- Calamity Sends Hasselhoff To Surgery - World Weeps
The question is, DS, why should we "give a damn" about anything? I haven't been paying even the remotest attention to this thread until this morning. In my mind, the things people choose "to give a damn" or even "to lend a damn for a small portion of time" are legitimate topics for discussion. For example, you don't give a damn about the celebrity in question. On the other hand, the topic is worthy of commentary. Before the commentary, however, you actually answer a question, which implies knowledge. Oh, I don't know why I wrote all that. It's not like I give a damn! :Eldar's goofy grin icon: - Movies You Have Seen Lately
