  1. just double-checked argenta's camaraderie bonus. curious, if she is surrounded by companions but then moves, she retains a camaraderie bonus as if she were still adjacent to a single ally. couple days past we did the cassia companion quest event on dargonus and checked numbers. surrounded by four allies (heinrix were too far away at the start o' battle,) a buffed argenta were getting a camaraderie benefit o' 84%. had to move her to get a shot at the boss who annoying ignores the first crit shot and 'course argenta is 100% crit. argenta were only receiving a 21% boost by her lonesome. the percentages offered above is numbers following her second heroic action, which am near always able to implement before any enemy gets a chance to attack. cassia and our main character is officers, and we made cassia a grand strategist. when combat starts, our grand strategist pasqal goes first, followed by cassia. cassia's first action is to give argenta a bring it down-- surrounded by four allies and complete unbuffed, argenta only receives 48% from camaraderie-- (5+ballistic skill modifier)x number of adjacent allies. in our game, camaraderie is working mostly as intended save that those acting solo appear to retain the benefits o' a single adjacent ally. aside, we can't get where the shadows are deepest of all to advance, which is moderate annoying. supposed finishing kiava gama is the trigger, but for us it is stuck. oh well. HA! Good Fun!
  2. we got an oven which cost as much as a nice car, but we use our air fryer(s) all the time and especial during the warmest summer months when oven cooking is an almost criminal endeavor. have become an air fryer convert. however, "air fryer" is such a fundamental misleading term. so doesn't replace oil frying. air fry feature is convection cooking. nobody should think you could make fried chicken in your convection oven, but 'cause o' wacky nomenclature people keep trying to make fried chicken and the like in an air fryer. the naming nomenclature leads to unfair expectations. non breaded chicken wings is ideal for air fryer. (aside: am highly recommending having your uncooked wings dry overnight in the refrigerator... sprinkle with baking soda will promote crispy/browning. water is the enemy o' crispy wings, so drying is gonna improve your finished dish.) a variety o' roasted veggies is also fantastic. nowadays we only cook our baked potatoes in the air fryer. falafel and salmon are great in an air fryer... but we don't cook salmon in the air fryer in spite o' the ease 'cause whatever we cook immediate after the salmon in the air fryer absorbs the fishy smell... and 'cause pan seared is also just so damned ez and good. is a bunch o' other stuff, including a variety o' french fries recipes which work great in the air fryer, 'cause those recipes also work in a convection oven. however, am not gonna try and make deep fried cat fish with an air fryer, 'cause that would be stoopid. air fryer is not a replacement for deep fry but is a (better) replacement for convection cooking in a standard oven. aside, your insta pot pressure cooking feature is also great for carnitas, butter chicken, oatmeal and a whole bunch o' bean recipes for which am able to skip the overnight soak step. admitted, nowadays am typical making oatmeal in our rice cooker 'cause our cheepy rice cooker is so ez to clean. regardless, am thinking the air fryer name is misleading and results in some folks being disappointed. can we make breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer instead o' deep frying? sure, but that is no surprise 'cause we can make breaded chicken tenders in a convection oven. air fryer is so not a replacement for genuine deep oil fry, but it is an alternative for a convection oven... the air fryer is often a better alternative simple 'cause the size o' the air fryer is smaller so is easier to circulate air and also 'cause an air fryer is gonna get up to temp much faster than a large oven would. also, the air fryer is more cost efficient to run than your oven and it won't add a large volume o' super heated air to your home during hot summer months just by opening and removing cooked victuals. edit: home fries is also a frequent addition to Gromnir menus, particular for breakfast, and we use the air fryer and the microwave to get perfect crispy potatoes. we do not par boil potatoes, 'cause is time consuming and unnecessary when a few minutes in the microwave will achieve the same result. is another recipe we use baking soda btw. after fake parboiling in the microwave, we let the taters dry on a rack for just a couple minutes... and we sprinkle the drying cubes/planks/whatever with a little baking soda to promote crispy. pop the dryish and seasoned potatoes in the air fryer and then cook at 390 or 400 for howsoever long it takes your air fryer to get 'em crispy. sooper ez... though am admitting we typical simultaneous cook bacon and a few veggies (onion and jalapeno is common) in a pan on the stove, so is not as if am complete avoiding mess. if am feeling particular decadent, am gonna grate a bit o' cheddar and top the combined ingredients. yeah, pan fry the potatoes in duck fat in a cast iron skillet is ideal, but the air fryer is much easier, less messy and involves us needing no additional oil. HA! Good Fun! ps am not a tofu guy, but the air fryer makes so ez to get crispy tofu cubes that am finding ways to include the stuff in recipes as an alternative protein source.
  3. am aware o' the guy who offers respec and merc acquisition, but am also having played multiple owlcat games. respec after a patch is always risky and we typical wait a bit before doing so. truth to tell, we ordinary wait six months before playing a new release, but games we crowdfunded and played beta is exceptions seeing as how we already indulged the title when it were even less stable. that said, chapter one and two thus far has been comparative stable compared to even wotr, albeit the maths is far more obscure in rogue trader and our knowledge o' the mechanics is less complete for their newest title, so am suspecting is a whole lotta busted stuff am simple not recognizing. ignorance is bliss. HA! Good Fun!
  4. keep in mind am not being hyperbolic about finishing most combats in one turn. the first battle in footfall is a good example. counterintuitive, we want to start battle with argenta in the open where she can reach out and touch as many enemies as possible with the longlas without moving. is no need for argenta to actual move save for a few o' the fights with extreme large numbers of opponents, many o' whom is behind buildings and around corners. equipping argenta with the longlas instead o' bolter means she is able to hit foes at extreme distance. and am figuring if our argenta scheme starts to be less effective it won't much matter as cassia is increasing becoming a world beater with her navigator powhaz. am agreeing that many owlcat rogue trader features do not appear to be working as described, which results in a bit o' trial and error and is more than a bit frustrating at times particular as am avoiding using mods for the moment. on the upside, since level-ups happen a bit more frequent in rogue trader than in most o' the crpgs we ordinary play, reload to the most recent level-up save as a solution to predictable busted mechanics is nevertheless incredible annoying but still less arduous than in other similar titles. 'course too often am not sure what is broken, so fixing is problematic. HA! Good Fun!
  5. am only having played chapter 1 material during the beta. similar, with the release o' the second largeish patch, we decided to start playing the game a few days past, so am only having just finished chapter one on daring... and the end boss o' chapter one were a bit o' a surprise as the difficulty were increased substantial from the beta. our feedback is therefore limited to act 1 and starting encounters in chapter 2. the thing is, our argenta is regular doing +50 damage. now admitted such is with crits, but our crit chance is 100% almost immediate. am knowing is lore appropriate to have argenta using her bolter, but we have her specd' primarily as a sniper and she is death personified with the longlas and two officers in the party. cassia and our main provide extra turns at the start o' battle near guaranteeing argenta will achieve momentum for a heroic. more important than cover is maximizing the benefits o' argenta's camaraderie. the extra turns has the side benefit o' buffing cassia's willpower btw, so is win-win. in turn 1 o' combat, our argenta typical gets 2x bring it down, her own turn, as well as a near guaranteed finest hour... and if is a whole bunch o' mobs, then 2x finest hours is possible. with the talent which is refunding an ap per kill, argenta ordinarily clears the field after a finest hour. obvious we ain't been using zones from grand strategist, save for two battles in footfall, but given our strategy am only anticipating using frontline and rear as party defense is a non issue if you kill everything before the baddies can hurt you. ... honest, am thinking o' starting over with a fortress world, ministorum priest, soldier who uses flame weapons, 'cause multiple officers providing an argenta sniper with extra turns is kinda busted op. aside, the dialogue is kinda cringey over-the-top, but am thinking it works for 40k. the games workshop created setting is grimdark stacked on grim dark and owlcat is leaning into that abyss with obvious verve. for folks who think kafka is too sunny, owlcat's rogue trader will no doubt be a welcome crucible o' despair. gameplay is a bit monotonous thus far, but again, we found an exploitive approach, so is no shock combat is repetitive... the only saving grace being that 'cause our argenta sniper ends combats so quick, we don't need go through the same routine o' buff and debuff for many turns. am suspecting there will be a fair amount o' hypocrisy heard/seen from fans o' this game who nevertheless derided obsidian's lack o' prebuffing in pillars. the pillars system was considerable more dynamic and better balanced than what we see in rogue trader. whatever. other folks is more hardcore fans o' 40k than is Gromnir, so we cannot speak to all the lore minutiae the way @Azdeus could, but am thinking owlcat got right the feel o' 40k. looks like 40k. sounds like 40k. is over-the-top grimdark like you expect from 40k. also, wotr made obvious to us that much o' the appeal o' their games is linked to their providing options we would personal describe as broken. is an old complaint o' ours, so am not gonna rehash in detail, but am thinking owlcat fans like rogue trader precise because it provides busted powerful and busted weak builds, weapons and abilities. makes the game hardcore or something? dunno, but owlcat knows their audience. is also obvious that psykers get increasing powerful relative to other classes as levels increase, so if you enjoy/expect that old rpg trope, then rogue trader is gonna feel right. regardless o' our criticisms, and recognizing how owlcat is unlikely to fix even obvious broken content, am suspecting we will play the game at least a couple times... as well as any and all dlc. we like the camp level o' 40k grim and grime. rogue trader is the first and only crpg set in 40k and owlcat got the admitted subjective feels right. HA! Good Fun!
  6. yeah, many o' the comments is so genuine and absurd that it is tough not to laugh. ... am recalling many/most europeans cannot see the comments section o' fox news stories-- simultaneous curse and blessing. we do regular force ourself to read fox stories related to major issues o' the day not so much for the content which includes predictable spin but rather for the comments from fox's online audience. taken individual, the anger and ignorance o' a respondent's comment to a fox authored january 6, immigration or culture war story is amusing. the problem is those comments at fox come in the hundreds and thousands, and is good/terrible to recall that fox remains the most popular news source in the US. is easy to dismiss the lone nutter or doofus as exceptional. fox news reminds us the crackpots and wingnuts is legion. and again, willful ignorance and outrage is not limited to those who wear maga hats. is numerous issues which bring out the fear and loathing o' the lib crowd, but am admitting fox has successful galvanized their audience and calcified its worst tendencies beyond what we thought were possible even fifteen years past. HA! Good Fun!
  7. Haley seeks to clarify Civil War comments as backlash mounts “I mean, I think the cause of the Civil War was basically how government was going to run. The freedoms and what people could and couldn’t do,” Haley had said Wednesday in a visit to Berlin — the first of five events in the Granite State as she attempts to close the gap with Republican front-runner Donald Trump ahead of next month’s primary. The former South Carolina governor then asked the voter who had asked her about the Civil War what he thought the cause was, to which the voter responded, “I’m not running for president.” “I think it always comes down to the role of government and what the rights of the people are,” Haley added. “I will always stand by the fact that I think government was intended to secure the rights and freedoms of the people. It was never meant to be all things to all people,” she added. The voter criticized her for not mentioning slavery in her answer. “In the year 2023, it’s astonishing to me that you answer that question without mentioning the word slavery,” the voter said. “What do you want me to say about slavery?” Haley asked. ... now this may come as some surprise to non-americans, but each US state teaches history different in their schools, and each school district has a fair amount o' leeway to implement state standards with individual teachers obvious getting additional input. in many southern states, the way the civil war gets taught is fundamental affected by the daughters of the confederacy's efforts at revisionism-- southern children frequent learn that the war between the states was ultimately about state's rights and slavery was a tangential concern. worth a read additional link "the revisionist campaign of Confederate sympathizers gained traction. By 1940, the “Lost Cause” narrative dominated textbooks nationwide; as Matt Ford observed this August in an article for The Atlantic, textbooks used when today’s American leaders were in school “downplayed the role of slavery” in the Civil War. "In 1946, the NAACP embarked on its own nationwide textbook campaign, which began in New York to fight against historical inaccuracies and for the inclusion of black history in the school curriculum. It wasn’t until the 1970s that the textbook industry began making significant changes, but the myth of the Lost Cause nevertheless continues to hold sway, as the Roper Center of Public Opinion demonstrated in 2011, on the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War. At that point, a significant portion of Americans — more than half, according to some polls — believed that the main cause of the war was states’ rights." haley said something stoopid, but as a former southern governor, it ain't surprising she promotes a pernicious view o' history. aside, the following is a somewhat amusing, but well-researched video on the state's rights as the cause o' the civil war stoopid which persists to this day. HA! Good Fun!
  8. now all you need is to find four more people who haven't seen the atf in the news for a long time at which you will be able to say that all the evidence supports your kill all the witnesses theory o' atf procedure. as to tamales, we got a friend who makes the best tamales-- combines pork and ground turkey. am not sure what we do wrong, but am never able to get pork and turkey quite right, so we ordinarily stick with just pork. unfortunate, many o' our guests have pork prejudices, so we gotta make a few tamales with chicken tamales. this year am not making much o' anything which cannot be prepared via a microwave. we did teach a couple o' our younger cousins how to make fudge, but they took all the fruits o' their labor with them when they left casa de Gromnir... thank goodness. HA! Good Fun!
  9. we got a rotation o' ten or so christmas movies including the following: lion in winter, kiss kiss, bang bang, godfather, french connection, nightmare before christmas, rocky, white christmas, the hudsucker proxy, stalag 17, and the recent added green knight. nightmare before christmas and stalag 17 is guaranteed, but the others movies change. this year, christmas food is whatever we got in the fridge. am kinda convalescing at the moment. our neighbors mean well, but they are not good cooks. recent had the driest banana bread evar and am not gonna try and figure out what went into some beef stew we received. the christmas cookies has been a travesty. on the upside, one o' our neighbors who doesn't cook bought and prepared one o' those enormous stouffer's lasagnas, so we got christmas food for days. HA! Good Fun!
  10. gotta admit we weren't expecting to go down a poppy seed rabbit hole. that said, the everything bagel with lox schmear we had this morning did taste better than usual in spite o' the US military's propaganda machinery attempting to discourage us from consuming poppyseeds... for reasons which as yet remain a smidge foggy. HA! Good Fun!
  11. forgive us for going slight necro, but we recent watched our favorite spaghetti western and it reminded us o' this post. not sergio leone, but we enjoy pretty much everything about the great silence. we always watch this film in december for the silliest o' reasons: the snow. HAA! Good Fun!
  12. 90% o' the time am guessing the new poster limitations is unnecessary, but particular nowadays, if a new game is released by a developer, there is gonna be a predictable influx o' bots and vandals whose existence is predicated on maximizing harm. most new posters arriving at the obsidian boards simultaneous with a new game release will be legit contributors with real concerns even if those concerns do not paint obsidian in a favorable light. am also suspecting the new poster limits become a real headache for the mods when a fresh title is published as their workload increases exponential... am just guessing. regardless, these boards exist to promote the obsidian brand, so is hardly shocking that obsidian would want to exorcise vandals and bots before they can cause damage to the brand. no doubt the new poster limits is a source of frustration for the applicant and possible for the mods if they are needing deal with a new game deluge. am convinced that if the developer could think of a better and less labor intensive protocol for weeding out malicious (subtle different than malcontent) posters, they would implement such a process. got suggestions? if we had a better method in mind for separating wheat from chaff, we would share such... well, we would share if we had a better notion and we didn't take perverse pleasure at the thought o' the mods needing deal with the hassle o' reviewing every new poster during those admitted rare times when a new game is released. HA! Good Fun!
  13. "All the evidence supports my position." four people you spoke to and your personal experience is all the evidence? ... ps the internet does not make it difficult to find actual examples, although one need assume there is far more false fails as 'posed to false-fails which produce litigation and media coverage. literal can't sue the fed govt for a false fail drug test resulting in no employment. in most cases there is few options for the victim o' false fails. however, the stories which get attention and are actionable are mothers o' newborns who get labeled drug users and are separated from their child and then need prove they aren't drug users... which is not so easy. prove a negative? regardless, is not difficult for a person with working brain cells to find such stories via their favorite search engine.
  14. "NOBODY. Not you, not anyone else, can give me even a single example?" "nobody" is misleading. were in fact four. you only bothered to ask four, at which point you had arrived at your conclusion? relying on four people (not four studies by reputable scientific authorities getting peer review, but four randos you know,) lead you to the conclusion that the basis o' the dod warnings is highly improbable. dude. thanks. typical going this far on a silly message board produces serious diminishing returns, but in this case, the juice were worth the squeeze. is even better 'cause you still don't recognize a problem with your position. HA! Good Fun!
  15. four? so in reality, the number o' untrustworthy personal and anecdotal accounts is reduced from thousands to... four? and you honest think four is a large enough sample size to judge credibility o'... just about anything? for chrissakes, four ain't nowhere near enough to come up with coin toss probabilities. ...
  16. am doubting poppy seed test fails is something 'bout which key asks everybody he has met. *insert eye roll* is so not an ordinary subject o' conversation for Gromnir, but we can't speak to key. that said, particular about such stuff as failed drug tests, people is not always honest or knowledgeable enough to answer accurate. so, when many reputable scientific sources, as well as the dod which does more drug tests than just about anybody, warns that poppy seed ingestion can lead to false positives, the smart thing to do is ignore the dod, mayo clinic and numerous universities until you personal meet somebody who has failed a test 'cause o' poppy seeds. 'cause the dod is inherently trustworthy, (fill in the blank.) don't need to come up with a reason why the dod and all those namby pamby science jerks would lie about poppy seeds, 'cause for key, absence o' personal anecdotal evidence is evidence of absence o' a problem... which is so arse backwards it beggars the imagination. venn diagram o' flat earthers and people who refuse to believe poppy seeds may lead to false positive drug test results. venn diagram of flat earthers and __________. am no longer shocked that americans fall for conspiracy. HA! Good Fun! edit: dod does more drug tests... not just that dod does more drug(s)... which is likely also true, but nevertheless...
  17. have already explained the flaw o' requiring a personal example be provided. we cannot give an example o' a person we know who has died from cancer due to exposure to toxic waste, so is not real, yes? is innumerable unfortunates we has no personal experience regarding-- thank goodness. converse, even if we met a person who claimed they had suffered cancer due to toxic waste exposure, we would not immediate take their word that such were the cause. however, if a bunch o' medical experts agreed and dod admitted that exposure o' servicemen and their families at camp lejeune led to suffering a host o' ailments, chances are we would believe such were the case, even though we personal have never met anybody who became ill at camp lejeune. duh. aside unless key is active military, the army wouldn't have jurisdiction or authority to break down his door save for exigent circumstances. being a conspiracy theorists who likes to bake is so not exigent circumstances in 2023. your pictured makowiec looks rather nice, so am doubtful the army sees it or you as an immediate threat so dire to national security that they could explain their trespass and am even more baffled by why gitmo would be the site o' your incarceration. we thought you were a US citizen. you still on vacation? a non american citizen arrested not on american soil maybe goes to gitmo. for the nonce we will assume key is a non citizen... or just talking out his keister. HA! Good Fun!
  18. same fail and is representative o' your earlier dod error. you aren't rebutting the astrophysicist but instead substitute your distaste for the speaker without offering any kinda meaningful alternative argument to mr. tyson. and not recognizing the problem with being convinced by your personal anecdotal experience is why some people drive while intoxicated and no doubt explains your evolution regarding masks during covid. is flawed. most o' the folks we know who has failed drug tests had known drug issues, so even if they had claimed poppy seeds were at fault is unlikely we woulda' believed 'em... and folks such as Gromnir who were warned 'bout poppy seeds beforehand did exercised diligence and avoided such ingredients for the time required. the possible victims o' the poppy seed problem we would likely meet is thus exceeding limited. would hardly be shocking we know zero. also, and this should not come as a shock, even if somebody told us they failed a drug test due to poppy seeds, there is a good chance we would not take their word on the matter even if we trusted 'em personal. 'cause people not only lie, but they get confused and misread all the time. example: we took a friend to an oncologist to get the results o' a biopsy. she was as clear-headed, well educated and rational person as you are ever likely to meet. somewhat surprised, she asked that we sit in with her as the doctor gave her the results, just for emotional support. made us uncomfortable to do so, but she were a friend and curiously she didn't want a family member with her in case the news were bad. am not sure what she heard as the doctor explained how many lymph nodes showed signs o' cancer and that she were stage iv, but Gromnir was with her as she asked relevant and meaningful questions o' the surgeon and seemed aware o' her situation. when our friend walked out o' the office she exhaled audible and said she were relived to get good news, which stopped us dead in our tracks. Gromnir told our friend she should immediate go back into the office and tell the doctor what she had just said to us. people can see and hear what they expect or want to hear in spite o' reality. regardless, given how we understand the pitfalls o' anecdotal and eye witness evidence, why would we believe anecdotal as 'posed to rigorous lab testing by multiple sources with numerous controls to exclude all those secondary and tertiary issues which makes anecdotal so suspect? you keep making the same fail over and over. is less and less a surprise as to why you fall victim to conspiracy. HA! Good Fun!
  19. we did read your post. assuming the dod would lie about poppy seed impact 'cause o' your feelings is not logical or reasonable. you mention military propaganda as axiomatic w/o tying propaganda to the specific issue in question: poppy seed impact on drug tests. keyrock being convinced the dod lies does not in anyway make it more convincing that the dod would lie about poppy seed impact on drug tests. and in the ridiculous amount o' time spent responding to Gromnir, no doubt key coulda/shoulda checked to see if nih, mayo and numerous university studies weighed in on the subject 'stead o' defending the otherwise indefensible. but they are all in on the fix too, yes? is how conspiracy works, yes? sadly personal anecdotal experience trumping science and experts is not just a key problem. so it goes. aside, curious, our earlier comment that poppy seeds results in false positives for opioids appears to be only partial true. fentanyl, methadone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone, as examples, is opioids but apparent the wrong kinda opioids for urinalysis detection confusion. extreme small quantities o' poppy seeds can result in false positives for codeine morphine and heroin as well as other opioids not previous mentioned, but is a whole slew o' factors involved in the resulting false positive results including but not limited to baking techniques and poppy seed country of origin. am mentioning 'cause is info key coulda' learned but chose not to. am having had this discussion too many times, personal anecdotal experience while not complete worthless, is the most suspect category o' evidence. go to ~13:00 eyewitness testimony and personal anecdotal is the least reliable evidence available. is how we get the overlap o' flat earthers and anti-maskers, right? HA! Good Fun!
  20. assuming dod is wrong 'bout drug test impacts 'cause o' your feelings is less than compelling. seeing as how dod runs one o' the largest drug testing programs on the planet, at the very least they got experience as well as considerable resources... and no obvious reason to mislead prospective test takers. am not seeing any potential for a conspiracy theory regarding dod pushing a poppy seed myth, but am admitting our imagination is much more limited than a few boardies. HA! Good Fun!
  21. growing up in the dakotas and doing ranch hand/cowboy work for much o' our youth and even some college, meant we heard lots o' country music... and bob seger. wish we were kidding about bob seger. got sick o' bob seger 'cause o' cowboy fascination with his work. the wild mustang roundup work we did for blm was hard, but needing hear bob seger +10 hours a day was excruciating. anyways, while am most assured not thinking o' our self as a country fan, our indoctrination resulted in us developing appreciation for a few artists such as linda ronstadt, lyle lovett and emmylou harris. ms. harris' hot band included such luminaries as ricky skaggs, dolly parton and albert lee, who looked like he should be part o' queen or the who more than a country band... does the guitar solo from the following chuck berry cover. edit: additional albert lee ownage one from lyle lovett at the white house HA! Good Fun!
  22. according to the department of defense, the reality is opposite o' keyrock assumption. the tests is so sensitive that an absurd small amount o' poppy seeds has the potential for resulting in a positive for codeine/morphine/opioids. HA! Good Fun!
  23. years past we wondered if the poppy seed stuff were more urban myth than reality, but at one point we were contemplating going the jag route with our career, and at the time we were warned verbal and by written notice via a memo from the under secretary of defense that we should refrain from any poppy seed consumption before our anticipated urinalysis. at the very least, the US department of defense took poppy seed impact 'pon drug test results with impressive seriousness. HA! Good Fun!
  24. biden is an ez target and he deserves more than a little ridicule concerning his cognitive fitness particular when necessary predicting the deleterious impact o' another four years in a high stress job. but... Joe Rogan knocks Biden over Trump’s claim of airports during Revolutionary War | The Hill clip if rogan pivoted and said, "see, neither one o' these clowns deserves to be President," we might chuckle at the deflection, but we would nevertheless agree. instead, rogan makes himself an example o' the exact harm he is accusing the media o' perpetrating.... doesn't even recognize the self-owning irony. btw, scotus not taking up the Presidential immunity question at this time makes sense in part 'cause 'cause there is no novel question o' law-- nixon and clinton cases has already answered all immediate relevant issues regarding the scope o' Presidential immunity. nothing to see. however, if the Court grants cert after the dc appellate near inevitable decides in favour o' special counsel smith, then am gonna wonder if the fix is indeed in. HA! Good Fun!
  25. relevant to our most recent post explaining punitive damages: cliff's notes explanation-- trump bragging about how much he is worth in testimony during the ny fraud case did not go unnoticed by the attorney for e jean carrol who is going to be asking for punitive damages in an upcoming second defamation case in which trump is already legal determined to be liable and the only thing being considered by the court is damages. as we mentioned above, the magnitude o' punitive damages awards is dependent on the wealth o' the defendant as 'posed to the scope o' the harm suffered by the plaintiff. the more trump proclaims he is sooper wealthy, the greater should be the resulting punitive damages award. another aside, rudy declaring bankruptcy is not gonna impact the recent $148 million defamation judgement. as a general rule, intentional torts cannot be discharged by bankruptcy. the divide between intentional v. negligent behavior is sometimes difficult to discern, but in the rudy scenario there is no legal grey area-- punitive damages is only awarded in the case o' intentional/knowing wrongdoing. bankruptcy for rudy is only gonna be able to shield his assets from other creditors whom we assume is multitudinous. HA! Good Fun!
