I'd be september 29th 1989. Was Microsoft big at the time? I'd do as SteveThaiBinh err... the career thing. Also I'd pick up a music instrument, probably bass guitar, and a martial art.

So, following that thought, those of us that play both PC and console games are the uber gamerz. I roxxxorzzz!!! (w00t)

Just because you get to kill people in a game doesn't make it any more mature. If you ask me, gun-based violence and stealing cars is a whole lot more childish and immature than a platform or adventure game. It's games like GTA and Quake that are childish, not Mario or Zelda. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought the was rather evident.

I'm Atton, no surprise here.

There is no age limit for games. You think it makes you more childish to play on a console? That's just ridiculous. I bought my first console at 25 and my brother at 30. It's the game you play that make it childish. Of course if you're talking about Nintendo that's different, they only have childish games.

It looks like he plans on listening to people who might or might not present him a project that would perhaps be set in the time of kotor. A lot of maybe's in this. What a waste of time that was.

It's been nice knowing you Kaftan.

The Barbarian Invasions ( Les Invasions Barbares) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338135/

Come to think of it that was probably the first movie that made me cry without me being a "baby". Another movie is My Life with Micheal Keaton. The scene at the end with his father and the rest of the family. I always shed a tear. Anybody remember that? And the end of The Barbarian Invasions.

If I ever see her (highly unlikely) I would not want to punch her, just point and laugh.

I went to a downtown Montreal midnight showing. They made it a show. Some amateur theatrical resonstitution of the big fights. They started at 11:50 and at midnight people began shouting for the movie (they were at giving prices to the fastest answer to stupid questions). It was pretty pathetic. Movie was great though

I usually manage to stay awake 5-6 hours in a day. edit: I'm joking, of course

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :"> I had to think about it though. "

I'm sure for Kaftan you have to analyze every little bit of a book or a movie to truly appreciate it. I find this boring and it kills the appreciation I might have if I do that. There is nothing perfect.

They are pretty good looking but no, I would not buy that. I don't have anything collectible from SW (or any other).

[targetmode] I love HP, SW, DnD and LOTR. I am a 27 years old male [/targetmode] As for HP: I love it, but I don't live it. I've read the books a few times. My brother, sister and mother (all older than me) have all read it and loved it. But I don't dress as any character in the books (that's sick, not only for HP, but for anything) and I don't buy any merchandise. That's a pretty good story, IMO. Any fandom taken to extremes is sick. Oh, and Silver, I'm french-speaking.

I have never owned a PS1 console, but I bought and played PS1 games on my PS2. If the PS2 had not been backwards compatible, I would never had bought those games, and I would never had bought an old PS1 console to play those games, knowing the console would have been osbolete shortly. Anyway I will wait a few years before buying a xbox 360, as I don't want to spend 500$ on a game console. And why would Microsoft want the customers to buy an old xbox, if they lose money on it? If it was backwards compatible, people would stop buying the old costly console and buy the new profitable one. And they would continue to buy "old" games.
-
Let's say a big xbox title is released after the xbox 360 is on the market. Will people buy an old xbox to play the game or will they buy the new one with backwards compatibility? If you buy an old one you're stuck with a console that will be obsolete shortly (no new games). You will be able to play old games on it, but if you want to play new games you have to buy a new console. Not good.

Which game is more buggy - KOTOR I or KOTOR II?
Reinoc replied to Burnzzz's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I didn't have any problem with Kotor 2, but had a few crash to desktop with Kotor 1. So Kotor 1 was buggier for me. Not much though. -

Progression to prestige class bug?
Reinoc replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think it's when you talk to Kreia the first time after reaching 15th level. I was 16th level, but I hadn't talk to her for a while. As for the lightsaber parts, I have no idea. Maybe you HAVE to have a lightsaber to get a prestige class? That would be ... stupid. -
A Real Gameplay Bug list (spoilers!)
Reinoc replied to Lendorien's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1- On Nar Shadaa, after Ratrin Vhek asks for his ship and tells me about the secret compartment I head back to the ship. When I enter the ship there is a black screen (as if a cutscene was about to start) and when I get to the starboard dormitory there is no secret compartment. I saved and reloaded. Still nothing. I tried the autosave and it worked. Weird. And now everytime I get in the Ebon Hawk there is like the start of a cutscene (maybe 2 seconds of black screen). 2- On Dxun, I was with Handmaiden and Kreia when I got to an old crashed ship. It appeared to be from the Mandalorian Wars (if I remember correctly). Anyway when I get out of the crater below the ship the two ladies did not follow. When a fight started they came and helped and after the fight the got back to their hiding place. I had to remove the characters from the party and add them to solve this. This is my first play through as a lightside Jedi Guardian/Weaponmaster. SPECS: P4 2GHz 512MB RAM XP pro sp1 GeForce 4 MMX 440 64MB SBLive 5.1 60 GB Hard drive (35 free) -
