My exercise regime
Blood pressure rises up to 400/200 during weights, so perhaps there is some trigger when you finish the extreme conditions of lifting. Could be thyroid.

How was the next day?
I went (indoor) climbing in London. It required me to take a circuitous route for the usual 40 minute journey, with a half-hour bus-replacement and sixty minute train journey and then some more assorted tube travelling to return back to the original destination. Finally got some climbing done. Then had to go back the way I came. Some small change from six hours on public transport. At least I have callouses on my hands now.

How was the next day?
My big weakness is the choreography ... once my slow uptake of the body movements is completed, I can do them for hours ...

Don't forget Ray Bradbury was apoplectic with Michael Moore's (in his opinion totally inappropriate) tribute to his classic novel Fahrenheit 451.

Now I want the time machine that Ed-D'Oh invents to come back to the nineteenth century and give birth to Walsh.

I heard that SEGA and Obsidian are making a new RPG from the Alien franchise.- Halo Hype
I thought the story in itself wasn't particularly good. What made it stand out was the way the narrative was integrated into the game, instead of being developed through a cutscene or just written in the readme. It made you feel part of the story. I didn't even play Half-Life until about five years after it came out, and it blew me away. (I still get vertiginous when Gordon climbs the cliff.) I think the first scene, where Gordon rides the monorail into that cool Black Mesa super-secret government organisation, where he is just an information-grunt, a white-coated beaker-pusher on the bottom-rung of the test-tube food-chain, only to have to show some innovation as well as talent with a gun to solve the story. I think someone's in love. With Alyx.- Forget the monitor
