Sounds like Marvel are using the infinite multiverse paradigm for their stories, i.e. anything and everything is possible (sort of like going for a spin in the Heart of Gold, with its infinite improbability drive on max).

Except that, as a general rule, males have an "easy out" by simply overpowering their opponents (possibly with surprise). As this teactic doesn't require a lot of planning, it does not encourage the sort of long-term grudge-holding revenge-is-a-dish-best-served-cold thinking that behooves the "fairer sex" to indulge in ...

I think a barbarian would die as the partially-functional remains of the cyborg attacked-from-behind-with-surprise, after the barbarian thought it was disabled when it's "head" was cleaved from its "shoulders" ...

I hate the lack of off-side rule. That spoils the immersion for me, no matter which game it is.

What prompted me to check it up, you yutz (congrats to you and your lady) is that I've never heard mead being referred to as honeyed wine! As far as I was aware, mead is just honeyed beer. Don't recall off hand if I have ever had any. Pretty sure the Egyptians used to give it to the Pyramid builders (who were not slaves, but well paid, well looked after and and well fed on seafood and meat according to remains).
