Taken with the built in function. My little Asura engineer guy feels a bit... lost in the jungle? -

Thanks Fenixp, I'll give that a (screen)shot on Dosbox I did try ShadowPlay (I have an nVidia card), but it was too awkward and too cumbersome to use with it's default shortcuts. I might have to see if something can be done about that though. Ideally it would be one background program fits all purposes. -

Hmm... I think I need to go hunting for some "screenshot" software that is easy to use. I love it when games have support for the Print Screen key, but lots of especially older games don't. Open to recommendations (works with Dosbox and old GoG games is an added bonus). -
The Political Thread - Browncoat edition... down with the Alliance!
Gorth replied to Gorth's topic in Way Off-Topic
And here I thought all Americans loved Trump and they (except the filthy commies democrats of course, it's a known fact they hate America, guns and freedom and democracy and whatever) would happily sacrifice everything to benefit from the protection of a medieval style wall! Now, if it started to affect his own businesses, then who knows, compromise (actual compromise) might be a possibility? -

All good things has an end... only sausages have two! (badly translated from a German song) More gaming experiences here

Start of the old thread End of the old thread Several, lesser known titles. If nothing else, just to see what it was I actually bought Two that I remember from top of my head (from the last 24 hours) "RWBY" and "Don't Starve Together" (edit: played quite a bit of Borderlands 2: The Pre-sequel" in coop mode earlier in the week with two friends)

Hum, fried Camembert is properly enjoyed with lingonberry jam. I should stop watching old Star Trek... I just read that as klingonberry

Since I live within easy walking distance of my work place, I often go home for some quick and dirty lunch. By quick, I mean 180 seconds, aka 3 minutes. A truly multinational meal too Slices of Australian toast bread (the first two minutes is waiting for the toaster), adding a generous layer of imported Danish Blue Cheese and some imported Canadian Maple Syrup on top. Salty and Sweet both ticked off the list! One of the few things I know that is more tasty requires too much time and equipment I don't have (Deep fried Camembert with blueberry jam on toast)

The Maginot Line was such a success in keeping the Germans out of France

Not a new discovery per se, but apparently we need find bigger and better particles. Or some such. Time to bring in the bigger guns in the hunt for particles of CERN is to be believed. FCC - Four times larger and ten times more powerful than the LHC. Should they manage to open a gateway to a nightmare dimension in 2050, well, I'm too old to care https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-46862486

I believe the last thing anyone wants is a rekindling of the old IRA/UK conflict. Most people know or have heard of the conflict, but most people outside Europe doesn't know how bloody the conflict in the 70's and 80's really was (3000 dead and 49000 wounded). Westminster will/would go to great lengths to try to preserve the current level of happiness in the region.

It's official (Ok, maybe not, but it sure is anecdotal!)... Australia Post is BADLY in need of privatization I was supposed to get 3 deliveries through the AU Post the last month. First up was an internet modem. Arrived in Ok time, was sent express. However, the only way I knew where to find it was the online tracker. No messages, no card, not even an effin SMS telling me that they couldn't be bothered to deliver to my address, come and pick it up at our local distribution center. Second was a parcel from a hotel in Brisbane (because, being silly me, I forgot a jumper and my passport there before flying back to Melbourne). That one apparently arrived a week ago at the local post office. Again, no hint whatsoever (nor any delivery attempts). Going to walk there today during my lunch break and see if they still got my stuff, even though it's not a full week later. Third... I bought a new mechanical gaming keyboard. $250, not the plastic toys that most people are happy with. Paid extra to have it shipped express too. Would it surprise anyone that it "mysteriously" disappeared en route, tracking showing it arriving in central Melbourne and then no more tracking entries. That was a week and a half ago. What could possibly be the reason for an expensive gaming keyboard getting lost from the tracking system??? Yeah, not a serious question, I have some very unflattering suspicions.

Hmm... thread is getting a bit long... ah well, can fit another post in here! I bought Battlestar Galactica Deadlock a while ago on a Steam sale. Only just got around to try it out for an hour. Played to first skirmish twice. Got my butt handed to me in the first attempt while trying to work out maneuvering and weapon controls. Made a better second attempt with a closely contested fight (I still lost, but only barely this time). I'm sure I'll get those pesky enemies in my third attempt. I need to work out what the optimal distances and use is for things like Vipers, Guided Missiles and Torpedoes.

Took a beak from Master of Orion 2 for something completely different last night... a few rounds of Killing Floor 2. Nothing like a bit of mindless zombie slaying to loosen up a bit Edit: My demolitionist is now level 24, closing in on 25. Second character is a firebug that just hit level 20.

Found on e of those little bargain gems in the local bottle store just before the weekend. A red wine that is nornally $20 (Aussie dollars, not US dollars) was on sale for $12, so I figured why not? Unknown to me, but still a 2017 Shiraz (my favourite grape if not vintage). Well, it was definitely as good as any $40 wine I've ever had, so I went back to the store and walked away with another half dozen bottles of this little gem (the name on the label was 'Two Towns', local Aussie stuff)

Found the links... Imho they make for better Star Wars movies than most of the Star Wars movies released after The Empire Strikes Back 'Return' 'Hope'

Sorry, no links. Too awkward on a phone. Besides aforementioned Planescape Torment trailer, I think the Blur produced trailers for Swtor are amongst my favourites

Who says we don't get a kick out of people's misery! Just kidding. Even allowing people to edit their posts was a concession. A few may, but most won't have a long enough memory to remember how it was abused in the past for trolling. Resulting a draconian restriction on editing at first. I.e. you couldn't't
