  1. True dat. Batman and Robin were terrible. Then again I only appreciated the Tim Burton versions. All else was quite subpar as far as i'm concerned.
  2. 1. Yeah, i noticed that too. Can't say i'm either supportive of, or against the idea. I very much like the design of the vehicule, and its not quite Batman cannon, although it doesn't pose any other problems to being used... except they will have to widen the Gotham City streets if he's going to zigzag trough them. 2. Yea, Ra's is a fine villain. Lets just see how he is represented.
  3. True, that.
  4. Buon Compleanno, Alexia
  5. It's just Magneto, no Dr. there. As for Spider having a chance against him... well, Magneto is one of the most powerful characters in the MU, but his full potential is used very little. If we were talking of the earlier versions of the relatively inexperienced Magneto, Spider would have a chance. I don't know how poweful he is now, but he's shown how powerful he can be several times in the past, and it doesn't bode well for Spidey (or anyone in the MU universe, for that matter). But to be used on a movie, he'd need his power levels and experience severely reduced so it would be more of a fair fight.
  6. Yea but tehn i listen 2 linkin park at its all sun and flowers again.
  7. Heh. Actually i know of those encounters; i'd simply like to see them in a movie, with proper effects And Wendigo as well. Though i forget - was Wolvie already a Canadian government operative by then, or was it afterwards?
  8. I'd like to see Spider face off against the Grey Hulk, or even Wolverine against the Grey Hulk.
  9. That could help. I don't think Man-Wolf would work; it doesn't strike me as a memorable character nor as interesting to use in a movie.
  10. In the first movie, at the intro to the Daily Bugle, Robbie tells J. Jonah Jameson that "Eddie hasn't been able to get a picture". That Eddie would be Eddie Brock, former employee of the Daily Bugle, who, after Spider-Man solved a crime where Brock had messed up the culprit, joined with the symbiote costume and became Venom. So, there might be a Venom. There might also be a Lizard, as Peter got fired in the first movie by Dr. Connors (Curt Conners). Good points, however, how would Venom be implemented? Connors can easily be represented. This goes for pretty much the basic, traditional Spidey villains. But Venom (and Carnage for that matter) are a different ball game. Unless it goes the standard bastardization route of crippling origins to fit a two minute description, Venom is something hard to include. Special government project? Secret project borked? Otherwordly occurences? Speaking of which, what i'd like to see in Spiderman 3 was the apperance of the Black Cat. This could add a different dynamic to the Parker/MJ relationship, and she was a somewhat capable heroine. A Spidey/Cat team up against a villain could be interesting.
  11. Bjork.
  12. But i'm prettier. Not by much, but still...
  13. That, and Seven.
  14. I actually found the Genesis version superior in most aspects. For one, combat was not strict to run'n'gun. You didn't had to stop, move that cludged up reticule to an enemy, and fire. The Genesis version had some fair realtime combat, helped by a good weapon variety, weapon mods, and magic. Also, the Genesis' story was actually more well achieved. While you had to play detective in both, doing so in the Genesis version had actual consequences - the more you invested in the story, the more complicated your game could become (ie, if you meet Tabatha Shale, the Renraku Strike team leader will recognize you and alert Renraku of your existence... meaning you have an added chance of being engaged by Renraku Strike Teams when you go off making a run in their arcology, sometimes even outside of it. If, however, you delay your meeting, you can perform runs in Renraku without that danger). The Snes version was too adventureesque, and while it worked, sometimes having to run around looking for items for which to advance in the story wasn't all that fun. The Genesis version also had a proper mission system. Ghoul hunts, package aquisition, extractions, cyberspace runs.... hell yes. And the Genesis version had great cyberspace combat. Wait let me rephrase that: it had combat, period. The Snes version didn't had any semblance of combat, unless you count be pushed back by inviz thingies which you had to push a button to make it exploded!! combat Nothing beats going toe to toe with high level Tar Pits with half your deck's programs destroyed and no chance to jack out. Tension, was the name of the game. The Snes version was fun, yes, but it pales in comparison to the possibilities the Genesis version presented.
  15. Even if we lost, we made history, just like Greece. This was the first time Portugal ever made it to the finals. The game was well disputed by both teams, and the better one won. Why end the day in a sullen mood when the portuguese team fared very well in the championship itself? Even if Greece had lost, they'd also party with us.
  16. Heh. Congrats, you deserved it
  17. Also, Green Goblin debuted in Spiderman #14, and Hobgoblin in Spiderman #238, if think.
  18. Hmmm, i'm pretty sure the Hobgoblin, in the comics, came after the Green Goblin. There's this info, and i've also asked some comic fans who tell me the site is correct.
  19. That would be dumb, i think. If i recall correctly, the Hobgoblin took on his identity after stumbling upon the GG's lair or something like that. How, and why, would Harry Osborne appear as the Hobgoblin? I'd prefer if the demonic Hobgoblin appeared instead.
  20. A shame, it is. I believe i'll watch Colonel Kurtz again tonight.
  21. In Catwoman's defense? Hades, the movie has no defense. Try searching online for a leaked portion of the script. It's just trash.
  22. If you're coming to Lisbon, be on the lookout for dishonest taxi drivers. There's been an incredible increase in scams recently, and try as we might, we can't weed out all of them. Try using public transportations instead of using taxis.
  23. Hehe. I feel it's going to be an interesting final. This european championship was just surprise after surprise, and Portugal's team has learned from its mistakes. With the right kind of motivation and initial team in the next match, we're likely to eat the greek team alive Regardless, i feel both teams achieved much, and i believe i will be watching the game with an equal level of support for both teams. They both deserve to be where they are now. The best will win. Which is Portugal of course :D
  24. And it's freakin' payback time!! Greece is gonna suffer!! Er, i mean, good luck to both, obviously This historical moment for both teams is supposed to be a peaceful, joyous event. We wouldn't want to ruin it by WANTING REVENGE FOR THAT FIRST GAME YOU BASTARDS WILL SUFFER OUR UNHOLY WRATH!!!
