  1. "The quicksave function is your friend "
  2. Sorry for crosspost, but this has been moved to spoilerforum, so I post it again here:
  3. Thank you Violent D!
  4. Why should they change the ending for the PC version? the majority of the PC gamers haven't played it yet, so they don't know the ending. Perhaps we are gonna like it very much, perhaps not, but I (and a lot of other PC gamers) want to judge that for ourselves. Your intentions are good, but not necessary.
  5. Use these please!!! edit your posts and put [spoiler in front of it and [/spoiler at the end, and close them with ]
  6. Now I'm wondering... A lot of people are bashing (or flaming) Obsidian for having rushed the game and including so many bugs and all. Where is Obsidians reaction to all those rants? Don't they want to defend themselves? Sometimes I see a green name in the bottom of the screen, but no-one reacts. Is this official company policy or what? If they don't say anything, people will asume their silence is a confession of guilt.
  7. Set your keybord to english... I think you are talking about K3 and K2
  8. How about you re-calculate your recipe, stating that if 675 equals 900, then you multiply every component by 1,33 and your recipe should work. That way you make the most of your brownie mix
  9. I had kinda the same thing with headgear. I thought it made you look incredibly ridicululous.
  10. I think they should have taken more time for QA. From what I hear, the game itself is brilliant, its the bugs that irritate people.
  11. I'm not going to read four pages of posts, so I don't know if someone brought this up already, but here its is: Isn't 1 DVD cheaper then 4 CD's anyway? So that would be an obvious choice if I were LA...
  12. I think not. Though I haven't played it yet, I'm sure Obsidian made the best out of it, and it wouldn't be fair to change certain parts of the game just because some fans feel left out. Just a patch for the bugs is fine IMO.
  13. Ever heard of something called science fiction? The last time I checked, SW was considered part of the genre. Your argument is fatuous, and I refuse to engage miniscule minds that obviously aren't even native English speaking. To say science is not a part of Star Wars is like saying the "car" was not part of Knight Rider. Ridiculous. End of argument. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> [sarcasm]Wow, you win!!![/sarcasm] *get him, Nur*
  14. With all due respect, Ampulator, but I think the ending of the game was solely Obsidians idea, and LA had nothing to do with it. I don't have the game yet, so I can't judge it. I have to take everybody's word for it that there are some problems with the X-Box version. IMO, LA had nothing to do with the game development itself, only QA. If you complain about the bugs, yes, you are right, to blame LA. But accusing LA for what is in your opinion a bad ending, I think you have to adress Mr. Avellone about that... Anyway, my 2 cents
  15. ...And that's why we are happy to be PC gamers: The engine was developed for the PC, so no crappy framerate or whatsoever. If the framerate drops, we just tune down some of the more advanced graphical options (8x AA instead of 16x, or 1280 by 1024 instead of 1600 by 1200) " Now there's a choice the X-Box gamers don't have
  16. Then you shouldn't play Starship Troopers
  17. ...Or newbies who don't take the time to learn how things work overhere...
  18. How about the Unreal 3 engine "
  19. IMO the one with the ninja weapons was the coolest ever. Half the episode is animated in manga style
  20. Yeah, but that is not the developer's choice. They are just the ones who make the game. The publisher is in charge of QA and release deadlines. That has nothing to do with the developer.
  21. Because of publisher deadlines?
  22. IMO, because the gamers on this forum are (at least) fans of the sequel, and more often than not SW fans. Reviewers review a couple of games per month, and don't look as deep in the game as the people overhere do.
  23. I disagree. IMO, Music enhances the gameplay, even if I don't like it. Take Fallout for instance: I hated the Necropolis music, but I hated it because it was so creepy, and therefore it improved the way I experienced Necropolis, i.e. as a very creepy place.
