Can you make these beta patches available on gog?

Welp...made it to raderics hold on my first ironman+hard playthrough. Got wasted in the keep proper. Not being able to run from a fight is a problem for this especially when you have no prior experience with the encounters. Starting over on hard but not ironman!

I think you missed it by.....that much! My backer beta line item used to be on the products page but since the new royal edition keygen show up it's gone. Good news is...only a few more hours til we can play the actual game!

Well obviously things can change and there are delays sometimes but that was the whole reason for the poll they had about shipping the game boxes w/out discs. So you would have all that other stuff on release day (at least in the US). Since we have no tracking info it remains to be seen whether it worked out that way or not though.

Anyone get theirs yet?

I'm considering this. I played D3 on hardcore and my only gripe was that you only had one chance to lose. If you died that was it. Done. Start over... At least here you have a full complete group that has to be wiped out before youre done. Playing on ironman/hardcore mode brings back the danger I felt while playing Everquest. You need to be aware of what could be around every corner. Be prepared at all times and be sure of your decisions. The stakes are high - bring it on!

I don't see how the fact that I have stated that I am going to mod it out of the game changes a single thing. A bad mechanic is a bad mechanic. It's also really stupid that it promotes standing still until you've recovered to use a movement based ability, because that is faster than moving and then using it. Dont you regenerate stamina/endurance faster standing still vs running or doing something physical like swinging a sword? I do. Makes sense to me.

I will listen to Led Zeppelin in honor of Pillars of Eternity and this thread.

The way I see it the tradeoff will be in what effects are on the armor. If youre a wizard wearing plate youre going to have high MIGHT (and DEF) but you'll be doing mediocre damage as a caster.

What an incredible and moving video. I'm so proud to have been a part of that kickstarter. I've played the beta but I really cant wait to start Pillars of Eternity proper.

I would like to see the "zoom in" capabilities upgraded. Even just playing on 1920x1200 resolution it'd be nice to be able to zoom in and see the armor from a closer viewpoint. I use the zoom a lot while playing BGEE and BG2EE to zoom in on the characters.
