  1. That screenie is taken from a review in which the author was playing a female PC IIRC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you really know how to kill a joke .. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I'm kinda slow today.

  3. We'll see about that. What I really want to know is if you are going to be forced to do stuff with the PC, that some other NPC would be more suited to. Such as repairing HK-47. In my first playthrough I had some crappy repair skills because I had focused other character on that particular skill. I always found it retarded that only the PC could attempt to repair HK. If that is the case, I will have to play LS sentinel, even though I like guardians better. For the DS, consulars own, period.
  4. Jedi Academy, Vampire - Bloodlines, The Ur-Quan Masters (it's a classic, baby), and last but not least Half-Life 2. If you are all for deep, immersive and thrilling storylines filled with plot twists, then this overhyped piece of crap isn't for you. I wish I had known before spending
  5. Now THAT I would like. Uh... eh... to free her from slavery, of course.
  6. As long there is a good game mechanic reason for it as per the rules of Star Wars d20 I say go for it. If not, its just lame. Period. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't care as much for game mechanics as I do for a good explanation. If they have managed to think of some original stories and we don't end up with a level 2 Canderous, it'll be just fine with me. I never liked very much the idea of level 20 NPCs by the end of the game, anyway. However, I can't see how the game is going to benefit from having the same old characters all over again. The cameo idea was cool, but getting them in your party... I don't know.
  7. You do know that there's no differences between the versions (Xbox US and Xbox International). This is just an example of inexcusable customer support by Lucasarts. I won't even touch the subject on why the PC was delayed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought the US version was NTSC and the International one was PAL. Therefore being incompatible between them. If that's not the case, please elaborate.
  8. Or is he? I always thought he was a Vandar.
  9. Well, MCA has already confirmed that NPCs won't constantly torture you with their stories if you don't want to hear them, so I think it's safe to assume we won't be getting a a whiner out of this guy. If it is actually up to the player to dig out his 'secrets', he might prove to be a most interesting character.
  10. If you haven't, you must get the 'Republic' comic series. The Quinlan Vos' subplot is one of the best of the series, IMO.
  11. It's been stated that every character has their own agenda and that they have their own reasons for following you. Most DS characters probably expect to get something out of you or from following you... you can guess what the LS characters expect to get. On to the topic, it seems the RP part of this CRPG is turning out to be pretty good. Hopefully it won't be the only part.
  12. Yes. The ultimate proof of that is their decision to delay the international Xbox and PC versions. Let loose the dogs of war!
  13. Set Harth it is for me. He was one sneaky bastard. If not I'll just modify one of the random generated names until it sounds right.
  14. Yeah... and he was called Porkins. OMG.
  15. Yeah, almost being the key word here. Gotcha.
  16. Show some respect for your betters, you shameless troll.
  17. Nice find. It seems LA were actually going to make it themselves...
  18. I must have missed the part in which it says you will get an easter egg for answering some silly questions.
  19. Actually that is a point in his favor. You see, staying to fight a battle you can't win and that serves no purpose whatsoever, only proves how dumb you are and how much you deserve to die. "
  20. I didn't quite found him to be so annoying, but I think he was a little too much of a baby whiner to make a credible soldier. After all, he's a Republic soldier and has a mission to carry out. A good soldier would put his personal feelings aside, and accomplish the task he's been assigned without showering everyone around him with his doubts about loyalties.
  21. And that's why reviews from people who get payed for doing something the rest of us pay to do suck. Fallout 1&2 would still get a 10 by my scale, and if they were released today, they would be laughed at.
