It looks like you are playing the "enhanced edition" and the characters sprites are messed up. The original Baldurs Gate looks far better. Have you got a certain option turned on that makes it look like this? All the screenshots of the enhanced edition I have seen look far better.

Just buy it already. The game was great when it first released. Now with all the patches and DLC it is epic.

They look fine for the size they are. There are a lot of people inexperienced with pre-painted mini's (of this size) complaining in this thread. Come back when you have been collecting them for 5+ years. These are probably somewhere between average and good for this size. You would be spending 35-50 to get good quality set at that size.

If they sent it on DVD I am pretty sure there would be someone wanting it on CD or Floppy Disc. In this day and age a physical copy normally means a box with either a steam installer or just a code. If you live out in the wops you better take a holiday in a nearby city. This problem, while serious for the hand-full of people it impacts, is not worth addressing - it just wouldn't make financial sense.

There is a seperate key in each collectors edition. So when you register each of the codes you should get another 2 keys.

Got my collectors edition today. Everything was in perfect condition including the statue etc. The collectors edition box is very nice and I like how the layers work with everything nicely contained. Guidebook is great quality. Cloth map is okay, not amazing though. My statue looks like the put a little bit much of the grey paint on it but still okay. All in all very happy with the finished product. Thanks obsidian.

Re-reading the update it sounds like they are actually saying they will send weekly updates to the distributors. I'm guessing it is a screw up on their end.

I'm not sure I understand this. I backed at 199 and also the season pass i.e. $220. I am still getting the season pass so why would I want to get a refund? Or does this mean everyone gets the season pass now but I get two? edit: NVM. I see everyone gets it who backed at collectors edition now. Can I change that 20 dollars to just get something else? i.e. a mouse pad or put towards a tee-shirt instead of a refund?

It ended up costing me 15 dollars after applying the 50% discount on the already discounted price of 33% off. They are useful after all for people with regional steam pricing! Equivalent to a slightly more than 50% discount on the Steam regional price for people where I live!

Guys, the coupon STACKS with other discounts on the paradox store. So you get 33% discount and then another 50% (if you have the 50% coupon). It ended up at 15 dollars for me which is even better than 50% off on steam with regional pricing!

White March Part 2 was the highlight of the game for me. Some really great encounters and good zone design.

It is equivalent to about a 40% discount (slightly less) for anyone in NZ (if anyone is interested). Steam retail is 53.99 NZD and Paradox would be 32.12 NZD after the discount assuming interbank rate.

This might have been correct at the time but I thought I would post to correct this if people are playing now. There are now numerous traps that require more than 12. I was just testing in Galvinos Workshop in White March and there are traps requiring 15 points and I believe there is a chest requiring 16 in the crag bluffs.
