Sentry - That Twi'lek thingy is so cute! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Twi'lek thingy? What Twi'lek thingy? er... thanx...

K, this thread is kinda lacking in art... So here is some crap from my sketchbook :D Featuring Malak (For some reason ) Oh ya, I don't think I posted this here: Its now abandoned because the pose is too static but its something... I tried shifting the pose in photoshop, but I still don't like it

Peragus was just tedious. I mean, half the story was told in obscure and rather dull in-game cinematics. I think there should have been more charater interaction at the beginning of the story of TSL rather than a drawn out adventure in an abandoned mining facility. As it is, Peragus gives the game a very slow start... Taris, meanwhile, was the best planet of KOTOR. It gave the storyline a lot of tension and it introduced almost all of the cast. Really there is no comparison between them PS: yay 200!

Goto, but I never used Mandalore or HK either... By allowing half the characters to be turned into jedi, the devs kinda made the rest of the crew practically useless...
-
Hmmm... If we are talkin npc's... k1 k2 hottest: Bastila Handmaiden coolest: HK Bao Dur

Thanx for the feedback guys Here is a digitally inked and colored version of my stupid old comic: The comic was never well drawn so I didn't bother to take much time finishing it tonight, but atleast I got a project completed Zulu: Visas is as pretty as ever and I love that tank! How long have you been 3d modelling? That is one thing I have always wanted to do, but have never gotten around to it... Kor: That malak is lookin sweet! Can't wait 2 c it finished :D EDIT: I made some minor changes this morning... I forgot a few things while inking

This thread seems to be slowing down (again...) soooo, here is something new: I finally decided to draw Bastila again :D Obviously, it needs some work. Her arms and shoulders are a little off and I haven't decided what to do with her right hand... I guess that I might as well post this as well... I have already posted it on my art thread, but not here because it still isn't done and I have posted it in various incarnations far too many times... :D

Hey guys! So as to give credit where it is due... I found a gallery of that (Bastilla picture) artist's work: Linky There is some great stuff in there

Wow, there is a lot of new art in this thread! Great job MissCora, Enha_Dyone, and Kor

Confusion regarding Kreia's identity.
Sentry replied to Darth Abbadon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I must say that I am not a big fan of Bastilla either, but my reasons are different. I don't mid how she looks, but her personality is just plain annoying. She has this snotty jedi princess with a superiority complex thing going on that drives me nuts... Ya, thats just my opinion too, BTW. And I too have a life. Really! -
Does Revan's fate make any sense?
Sentry replied to Nur Ab Sal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
LOL! What the heck is a 'Cute sith sarcophagus'? I can just see it now: A big pink coffin with a red bow. A violet sign hanging on it solemnly states: "Revan died 3,951 B.B.Y. of Jedi Pox R.I.P." -
KOTOR I's Jedi Robes & KOTOR II's Jedi Robes
Sentry replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I can't believe this is being seriously discussed... DarthMacLeod, Why do you insist that the robes must have evolved? You are reading way too much into a very small part of a video game. You might as well discuss why the weather was always perfect in Kotor, while TSL had weather effects. Was it a galaxy wide climate shift? -
"Exegi monumentum aere perennius..."
Sentry replied to Moorglade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It is true that in TSL there are no tangible consequences for being evil or rewards for being good; crime always seems to pay and the good guys suffer with little relief... BUT, unfortunately, that is pretty true to life. Personally, I welcome a little complexity into the Star Wars universe, but I can see how it would be disturbing. After all, the movies make it seem that the good guys always win in the end and the bad guys always fail... -
Darn, I failed the greatest Carth litmus test of them all Ya, 'only kiddin'... sure... :D
-
:D I thought so as well, and look at the big smile on Revan's face. He's certainly enjoying the moment. :D Great start, Sentry! I am sure it will turn into a great piece. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeaaahhhh.... no. No Bastilla striptease in this pic... That would be a little akward with Carth standing right there, unless... Ummm, I don't think i'll go there I just haven't drawn in her clothing yet.... ^_^ Edit: Thanx Shryke

"Exegi monumentum aere perennius..."
Sentry replied to Moorglade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't much care for the storyline, actually. The Exile character is pretty cool, but the story was undercooked... What I liked was the dialogue. It was better written and more philosophical than KOTOR's. It didn't just rehash the same stupid old "The Jedi are Holy - The Sith are Satan's little helpers" sort of thinking... -
Pinky and the brain possibly? Or maybe Patty and Selma? "

"Exegi monumentum aere perennius..."
Sentry replied to Moorglade's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmmm... Strange . I found the moral ambiguity of TSL's to be one of the best improvements in the series. Personally, I thing GL's star wars movies are pathetically simplistic in thier morality. (That guy has a red saber, he MUST be evil!! ) TSL does not define what is right and wrong, instead it challenges the player to make these choices for themselves which I find to be more rewarding in the long run. As such, TSL is a much deeper game than KOTOR even if, in the end, it proved to be less satisfying... -
Thanx all :"> You guys n' gals are awesome PS: Anyone who wants another place to post their art, feel free to post it on my thread at: Kotorfanmedia.com A direct link is in my sig Oh, and thanx for those who have already contributed

Na, it wasn't your fault. I just haven't been surfin much lately. I had some minor surgery requiring some stitches in my back and a few days later I lost my dial-up connection to the net cause the junction box corroded. I only just got it all repaired yesterday... Ya, ya, ya I just don't feel like drawin lately... Don't worry, I'll get back into it eventually :D

Sigh, yet another dead thread... R.I.P. Anyway, the helmet is fine KOR. Here is a reference pic from the comic books. It is a pic of Mandalore the Indomitable (he was the Mandalore that fought alongside Exar Kun...): As you can see, the in-game model isn't even that accurate...
