Revan VS. Vader These threads are so darn geeky...

A lot of people have brought this up, but realistically it just isn't going to happen. Creating major changes in a world map based on your character's alignment and/or gender would would double/quadruple the work for each significant location, especially when you take into account all of the character scripting and dialogue... More importantly, continuity is becoming a major problem in this series. Every time there is a major variation in the details of the story based on your character stats, the work load of the devs grows larger and larger as they are forced to write and script a satisfying ending for each eventuality. Since the devs decided not to actually finish the story, they suddenly seemed to realize that a sequel would be impossible unless the ending of KOTOR2 was more or less the same for light or dark sidel. Sadly, they wrote themselves into a corner... Still, KOTOR3 will be very nearly impossible to design unless the devs canonize the characters of Revan and the Exile to some degree...

This is way OT, but whatever... I didn't explain that well... WarCraft2's expansion packs assumed that the horde lost. As did WarCraft3... PS: Actually the last level for the horde was the sack of Lordaeron (sp?).

IMHO, the next dev's should hard code the alignment of both Revan and the Exile. I think that hard coding their appearance and gender would piss off too many people. For instance, my Revan is a waman simply because I find the character to be more interesting and unique that way... I mean how many female Sith Lords are there in Star Wars? not many... Much like games like WarCraft 2, they should just assume that the good guys won... After all, it was fun to play dark side, but the light side endings made for a much more satisfying story. Lastly, there are problems with the Dark side storyline. Namely, the fact that Revan just ran off one day after defeating Malak and retaking the Starforge is just too hard to swallow...

Ya, thats what I do late at night when I should be sleeping... BTW, Someday soon I will finish Satasn... At the moment, I have several stitches in my upper back, so its kind of uncomfortable to draw anything Julian - that Bastilla/Revan pic is great. Great job with Bastilla's face and figure... Nice

Here are some pics of Bastilla's robes: The detailing of Harry's painting is nearly perfect... Whats the big deal? Or do you just not like the outfit in general? The only comments I have are: 1) the shading of the right hip is a tad off. 2) she seems to have a really small ribcage But, as you said, its not finished yet... Anyway, I love it Tis a great digital painting. Musta taken forever to do... PS: thanx for the comments Harry, Petay, LordSatasn! The last pic I uploaded was actually just an idle doodle. I don't plan to use it except as a reference...

Hi all! Sorry, I've just got a lot to do at the moment... I have been out camping in the wilderness of easter Washington for the last 4 days and I never got around to doing any drawing as I wanted to. Sweet Anywho, I abandoned my last Lord Satasn attempt because I lost interest in it. I have a much more dark and dynamic concept in the works now. I just have to sit down and draw it... PS: Kor - as always, your stuff is always great Keep up the great work!

Ya, I didn't finish that did I? I'll try to finish the line art by this weekend. I'm going to tweak a lot of things on my sketch before I can clean it up...

If you learned to draw from manga, decreasing the eye size should help to age characters. Also, you could use more angles while drawing the facial features: younger people tend to have more rounded features than old people (unless they are chubby ). Also, the nose and ears continue to grow til we die, so it helps to make them larger... Toning down the character's facial expressions also helps... Thats about all that I can recommend, off the top of my head...
