Well hot damn, that was a good way to make me excited about Rogue Squadron. They've had pretty good luck with the name Rogue, so I'm going to hope Star Wars Top Gun turns out great.

Do you eat the pumpkin as well? I would think the skin would not be enjoyable, but I don't see pumpkin served like this often.

I'm pretty happy that it looks like Deus Ex MK, since I think that game looked great. I was surprised that I montaged through all of introduction stuff. I mean, I would have really liked to play through those scenes to get a feel for my character. I started as a corp, so maybe it flows differently for different origins. Still, the gameplay is solid, it runs well, ad the atmosphere is great, so I'm happy. Am I the only one that thinks Jackie sounds like Darkwing Duck? Ok, maybe a bit deeper voiced, but still...

With all the buzz about Cyberpunk 2066, I decided to watch Johnny Mnemonic. I had no idea how close to reality this movie is. The year is 2021, there is a a global pandemic, and Big Pharma rules the world. This crazy guy just boosted his memory implant from 80 GB to 160 GB. That might be enough to download Cyberpunk 2066. Unfortunately his courier load is 320 GB. Yikes!

I think this is pretty common with all contractual employees. It tends to look a bit more stark, since teachers make very little pay given their level of education and societal impact, but that is one of the costs of moving away from an hourly wage system. Of course, not having to clock in and out, and having a goal oriented job instead of simply putting in the hours are big pluses. Basically I'm very happy having a contract, I'm plenty happy to go above and beyond that contract to meet the needs of the job, but I'd really like that contract to pay better.

I cook 3 times a week. My wife usually handles 2 other nights. The rest of the nights are leftovers and fend for yourself.

I'm not sure there are a lot of math teachers pushing the narrative that construction is a bad industry to get into. Math is a pretty important part of the job.

I've turned the whole Santa question with my kids into a bit of a childhood threshold they should not be in a rush to cross. I'm not going to say you should believe in Santa Clause, but Mom and Dad don't get any neat Santa presents because we are too old, so maybe don't try to grow up to fast? Enjoy the magic of Christmas. I'm sure they both know by now, but they WANT to believe, and so do I.

My son and I have been pretty much exclusively Nike for years. They are pretty durable and affordable. Of course, that doesn't stop our optometrist shop from gouging us for all sorts of other weird charges. I might need a new eye doctor.

In my playthrough, I was able to ally with 2 of the groups and keep one somewhat agreeable. You just have to be careful with the direct attack quests. edit: Granted I'm playing on normal, and I think it is easier to balance reputation on that difficulty.

I feel like there has not been enough news about Orville. It is great. How can we end up with a million seasons of American Dad, but only 2 of Orville?

I chuckle at the fact I am much more likely to be inconvenienced by the 5 AM part than the 10 PM. That is way past my bedtime. Luckily all of my 4:45 AM workouts are on hold for the winter.

It sure makes it easy to distinguish between the real posters and the fake ones when the fake ones speak in absolutes. I mean, even Skarpie leaves himself a bit of wiggle room.

I've always disliked vehicles in squad based games like Xcom and Xenonauts. I just don't feel any attachment to the vehicle like I do my troops. I mean, I know it isn't cheating, but there isn't the same sense of accomplishment when your tank does something cool.
