I was watching Highlander 3 on TV today, and I started thinking about the fact that there was supposed to be a 4th movie released many years back. I always thought Adrian Paul and the TV series were superior to the movies, although the first was decent, but I don't remember ever seeing the 4th (Endgame) out in theatres. I don't think signing Hasek is that bad. He's not being paid a ton. But they need a prospect or a young goalie who can step in if he gets hurt.

The HDMI is pretty important. If you are willing to spend $500-600 on a console, you probably can swing that for a HDTV. I got my 32 inch widescreen HDTV for $500.

NHL 07 looks interesting, as the puck is supposed to be much more independant than previous years. They've always treated the puck like it's a magnet that sticks to the blade of whoever is closest. Still, I don't know what that will do to gameplay. NCAA 07 (football) is really stripped down. The gameplay is good, but all the neat franchise options and the good drafting stuff is left out. It's bare bones, someone compared it to NCAA 98 and that's pretty accurate. However, Madden 07 is supposed to have in the Superstar mode and some neat new Franchise stuff. I'm excited to focus solely on the WR position.

I rented NCAA 07 for the 360 and I'm glad I did. They really stripped it of the great franchise features. It's bare bones. I plan on buying Madden, and I hope it's way better. Still, gotta get my draft classes ready.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of my work being called fanfic, but maybe there was just a concern about the forum being overloaded with short story threads. I'm guessing one thread woyuld have caused less concern, although it's pretty intimidating to try and read a thread with a bunch of short stories in it. It's easier to take them one at a time.

I agree with Pidesco. I liked Heat, but The Insider was powerful.

I revived this thread because I just finished paying $200 for my root cleaning, and now they want me to pay $75 for each of my 5 cavities. That's $375 for the math challenged. I was concerned, so I called my dental care provider. They were concerned as well, and now I'm searching for a new dentist and they are following up for me. Basically, my dentist only does resin (white) fillings. He didn't mention that there was an option (silver or amalgam) which is free to me. There is mercury in the silver fillings, but I looked all over the net and every study says the amount from fillings has never been shown to be harmful. It also lasts way longer than the resin fillings. I feel pretty ripped off, but at least I didn't pay the $375 for my fillings.

Great voice and characterization. It felt gritty and the stream of consciousness style added to the story. I got a bit confused in a few spots about who was talking though, but I don't read well on the computer.

The male restroom is a tricky place. Most men have no qualms about relieving themselves in even the dirtiest of bathrooms. Urination is handled quickly and with little precision. The average male will make a casual attempt at hitting the urinal and be on his merry way. If no bathroom is present, any dark corner will do. The problem with this casual spraying is that the secondary method of relieving oneself becomes trickier. It is a much more personal experience to place one

First off Eddo, I think it's awesome of you to share your literature. I recommend ignoring the trolls on here, as they probably couldn't even commit to writing that much. Second, you write excellent action scenes. They are easy to follow and easy to read. I didn't expect to read the whole thing, but the action kept me involved. Dialogue is a difficult beast to tame when writing. Keep it simple, look at Hemingway for a good example. I give it a 10 just for sharing it with us, I know that is not an easy thing to do. There are some great literary forums out there as well, so I recommend submitting it and letting them help you flesh it out.

I agree with you, although Gray Davis might not. He was the California governor who was booted in the middle of his term. He didn't do anything legal, they just got enough votes to get rid of him and hold another election. Hence the Terminator.

Titan Quest is full action-RPG. When you aren't clicking furiously, you are managing your inventory. Still, it's a very good action-RPG, but for many that is an oxymoron.

I just saved Greece in Titan Quest. Now I'm in Egypt...and I'm not all that inspired to go on. I think I'll try the multiplayer. I was a bit bummed that there was no cut scene at the end of the first act. I guess I'm spoiled from Diablo.

Well, it's exactly like my PSP, which isn't a bad thing. The big thing that caught my eye was the browser...so will I be able to use the internet just like I do on my PC? That's a pretty cool idea. The 360 interface seems much more limited, although it has improved over the last couple months. I'd also like to see how downloading content is handled.

I've noticed we've seen less of Hades recently, and I think it's because he's dedicated to his diet. Seriously Hades, best of luck and it looks like all us forum trolls are rooting for you. I'm not sure what that's worth, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
