  1. Yeah, other than Hitman: Blood Money, this has been my most played game on the 360. I just like jumping from building to building like the Hulk.
  2. US health care is the best and the worst in the world. I blame the lawyers. edit: Uh, I watched Serpico. Good movie. It makes you realize how far the US has come in terms of law enforcement.
  3. Wow, you guys take this so seriously. Is Puzzle Quest a Puzzle game or an RPG? It makes my head hurt just thinking about how to describe it.

So blondes are fun and dumb because society labels them as such? Groovy.
  5. I thank God that my **** doesn't threaten to pop every few hours if I don't service it. We can actually get a baby sitter and leave a bottle of milk if we want to go see a movie, but with all these three hour epics this summer, it isn't worth it. That would basically mean my wife would need to pump in the car before and after, which isn't comfortable. But enough about my wife's boobies I watched The Astronaut's Wife on fast forward. It was pretty bad. Maybe I missed some reasons for the whole homicidal alien entity. Johnny Depp was not at his finest.
  6. I think you are simplifying war a bit too much. It's impossible to predict the outcome of going to war, but there was a real possibility that not sending in troops would lead to more innocent deaths. With this thinking, the US should have just stayed out of World War II (in fact, they actually did.) Whether you believe Hitler would have been stopped without the US forces or not, it doesn't change the fact that it was a decision that saved lives and was the Christian thing to do. It's not some morale black and white canvas. War is a very difficult minefield for everyone with an ounce of humanity, religious or not. Running a government ain't no cakewalk either.
  7. Representative democracy was a key term in Cant's post for me. If you are unhappy with the fact our leadership is predominantly Christian, then you have to change who is electing them into office. Politicians are just representatives, they act in the best interest of those who elected them, so that they continue to get elected. Take gay marriage: **** Cheney seems to have a close relationship with his lesbian daughter. Personally, she has supported him in his career. But both of them know that coming out in support of gay marriage would be political suicide. They are clearly prioritizing what issues they are willing to take a stand on. That's politics.
  8. The baby kinda killed my organized gaming time. Maybe in a month or two when her schedule is more regular.
  9. Wow, yeah, I watched Pan's Labrynth from the comfort of my own home. Having an infant means I really don't even get to go see movies in the theatre, so I'll be sure to put a disclaimer on every post. My child is a long ways away from going to a movie theatre, and I definitely wouldn't make it an R movie. She can see R movies when she's old enough to sneak in, like the rest of us!
  10. i think that the touch screen is the stupidest thing ever . I think the point he is trying to make is that is caters to more than just your hardcore gamer. Being that you spend time on a gaming forum, you can be considered a hardcore gamer. Having buttons and a control stick is natural to you. However, the stylus system is easy to use for someone who has never picked up a game before, because we all know how to use pens. Opening gaming up to non gamers is incredibly important for the industry. Hardcore gamers alone cannot help it grow. Of course, the movie playing abilities of the PSP should be the draw for non gamers to that system. Unfortunately, I think they overcharged for the UMD's to ever really attract that audience. Many UMD's were more expensive than their DVD counterparts. It's a shame, because that was a primary reason I bought the system.
  11. Pan's Labrynth - Good. I was surprised it was in Spanish. I don't mind reading subtitles, but it doesn't lend itself well to taking care of an infant, and I missed a few things. I enjoyed it though.
  12. Yes, that's what I refered to as initial cost. Runescape is completely free, although I believe you can pay for certain premium services. I'm not too sure, it's mostly only my Middle School students who I've known to play the game. That and Maple Story.
  13. Given the Runescape mention, I figured he meant a completely free game. GW still has an initial cost.
  14. Agreed. What we need is competent secular leadership in our government, not religious wackos like Bush and his cronies. Is Bush really a religious nutjob? Or is he just aware of his constituents?
  15. Look, kids are smart enough to figure this stuff out. Educational institutions just needs to make sure they are allowing access to ALL information, viewpoints, and theories. Obviously teachers shouldn't be preaching religious methodology, but they also shouldn't be avoiding discussions about it. The state of the world is this: People are arguing about creationsim versus evolution. That is they way it should be taught to the students. Anyways, this is getting away from the original topic, I very much side with Krauss on the issue. I think Dawkins' strategy will only encourage the rift between science and religion, and with religion as popular as ever, that's a losing strategy.
  16. yes all is true but the ds has been out longer .... give it time there will b games for the psp and battlefront is just the begining The PSP has been out for 2 years. I owned it for a year and a half before I gave up on it and sold it off. Even with Battlefront, I'd rather play it on my console or PC, it's not a better game on the handheld. The DS has unique titles that aren't available on the PC or consoles.
  17. I've had both, and there isn't even a contest between the two. The DS has creative games and an amazing stylus system. The PSP looks great, but I found they tried too hard to force PSOne games onto a tiny handheld screen. I wanted games that were designed for the small screen, not games that I wish I could see on my TV. If you want to watch movies, surf the internet and care more about graphics, then the PSP is the right system. If you want to play games, get a DS.
  18. Actually, religion belongs in Social Studies, or Social Science as it's now called.
  19. Islam is about 500 years younger than Christianity. 500 years ago, Catholics and Protestants were killing each other all over Europe.
  20. Anarchy Online may be free, if I recall.
  21. Are you a stand up comedian Morgoth? Because those not jokes are pure gold!
  22. KotOR was linear. I loved it because of that. The story would have been weakened if you weren't forced down certain paths.
  23. Eventually, the millions of peaceful Sunni's and Shi'ites are going to say enough is enough and stand against these horrific attacks on one another. I just hope it's sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what the US can do, other than to support Muslim leaders who seek peace between to two denominations.
  24. NHL

Keenan seems to be much calmer nowadays. He hardly made any news in Florida.
