Unfortunately I'm not sure how much competition AP will be. I'm guessing AP will be more of a slow and steady seller, whereas Bioshock 2 will fly off the shelves at release.

The guy scores a lot of goals. I think if he had a skit after every one it would add a good 20 minutes to every Capitals game. Also, once again Volourn is trying to argue even though we are all in agreement. Are you incapable of just accepting that we all share the same opinion of Ovechkin's theatrics?

Yep, but it's a common response by guys that assume a girl is their property to blame the other guy.

The NHL has always had a bit of a problem finding real personality, so I welcome Ovechkin's theatrics. Guys like him embrace the entertainment side of sports, and that is the only way that the NHL can compete with Football and Basketball in the US. On the other hand, I don't want the NHL to become the NBA or NFL, with players more concerned about egos and personal stats. Ovechkin isn't like that at all, he is good natured in his showboating, so I really don't see the problem here. He's not acting lke this after every goal, 50 is something special and he treated it as such.

Then it is fantastically successful.

Community college. her place is actually about an hour from where I'm staying so it'd probably be more inconvenient for her. Plus the fact I'm living off my 'rents. Then you can stay at her place, on the couch of course, to make her feel safe.

This was the funniest story I saw this week. The odd thing is the scifi channel had its best year ever last year, why exactly do they think they need a change? Pure goofiness :D

It really isn't in good taste to go into a eulogy thread and troll. This is a sad situation. No one is saying it is more sad because she is a celebrity, but being in the public eye often magnifies this stuff. It may seem like it doesn't deserve the attention it is getting, but the positive from this tragedy is that hopefully people will see this and decide to wear helmets out on the slopes. After watching this unfold, I know I will be, as will my daughter and wife.

This does not bode well for the FO MMO. He left interplay (and the V13 project) to go there... The fact that Interplay is developing it doesn't bode well for the FO MMO. It's like the worst plan ever imagined.

Dang, it's $15 now. I'm hesitant.

I remember reading a post that said "Don't go in Vault 112 until you want to end the game!" and that kept me out of trouble. I actually like the fact you can skip parts of the main quest, it makes it feel like you are naturally stumbling upon the path of your father.

I've always been interested in this game, I like my shooters brutally realistic. I'll try and pick it up in the next week and see if I can track y'all down.

I've stopped and ended up coming back to and finishing a few games over the years. Bloodlines and Dues Ex were like that. They didn't pull me in the first time, but a few months later and a different approach, and I found them fantastic.

I haven't noticed any bugs. These are huge, complex games, I'm really not too critical about bugs in a game like this. As long as they get fixed in a timely manner, I'm pretty happy.

I'm guessing it was not meant to upset you this much, and if it was any of the regulars, I'd even bet that they'd be willing to apologize for offending you. I know I've had my share of arguments, and if I ever gave you the impression I don't respect your opinion, I apologize. This thread is easily my favorite on these forums, and I appreciate your input over the years, even if I don't always agree with you.

Would you like to share an example of this? I've never seen it in this thread. I'm not attacking you, I'm really trying to understand why you take such an abrasive tone with a fellow forumite.

I swear Volo, you are the least friendly person in this thread. Krookie states an opinion and you tell him he shouldn't talk because he doesn't know enough about the team? Why do you feel the need to tear other people down?

I'm starting to get good at MLB The Show. My batter is still playing AA ball, but I'm batting .375 and in the top five among hitters in the league halfway through the season. I really like the progression. You get training points when you play well, and you can use those to increase a bunch of skills. Those skills start off pretty low (and they go down if you don't train them every once in awhile.) It will probably take me at least two seasons just to get my skills at a solid point, right now I'm rated at about a D. It's a pretty rewarding system. I've just gotta be more patient on the pitches, I strike out way too often.
